My daughter broke the screen on her Pixel 6 Pro so I bought this replacement screen. I was a bit doubtful whether the screen would work (of course, the few people who post reviews are usually the ones with issues), or whether I had the skills to perform the repair without breaking something else.First, the screen arrived quicker than they had predicted, so that was nice. (In 12 days instead of 3-4 weeks)Second, the screen was extremely well and carefully packaged and had a great selection of tools to go with it.I then watched a number of YouTube videos to learn how to do the replacement, which they assured me was simple.I bought a 11"x17" Repair Mat and some B-7000 glue (with another flat tool to cut through the old glue). We already have a heat gun.With great trepidation, I set to work. Using the heat gun to soften the glue and the tool from the B-7000, the screen separated surprisingly easily from the phone body. And one of the included screwdrivers was perfect for the tiny screw that holds the screen-cable in place. Then the included "thin plastic card" was how I very carefully removed the fingerprint sensor. (Oh, and I used some tiny tweezers to pull out the sensor's cable)When I installed the new screen, I could not initially get it to work (like, for hours). So I thought the new screen was broken, but read on.Eventually, I asked my son to try and he pushed the screen-cable connector in place more firmly than I had been, so that was one improvement. But the screen still wouldn't come on. He did some google searches and did the power-button-and-volume-up reset trick and... the phone works now!I applied the B-7000 glue and it's currently all clamped together and curing.So... that's it! This replacement screen is half the price of a repair store and, yes, it really does work!

Display works but makes the phone feel like it has something wrong with it because of the lagging touchscreen. I would not purchase this if I had another option.

Easy to install except the part where you have to transfer the fingerprint scanner. screen pixels look good and no defect there but the screen lags and multiple times in a day it won't respond to my touch. For how much you pay I would expect the screen to be just like factory or better but seems like it's some cheap aftermarket junkie that they sell at a high price.

The installation was very easy!The quality of the screen is alright -- half a second lag with any input and the color quality lacks a little. User experience is equatable to a touch screen 6-7 years ago.Overall it's better than having a cracked screen. You definitely get what you put for.

I bought this screen for my daughter's phone. Done several screen replacements before on various phones. Don't know if I did something during the installation or it came like that, but there is a black spot on the top of the screen near the right. I didn't notice it until later, but my daughter noticed it the first day. Also, I took it apart again to install a replacement fingerprint reader, but it would not work with this screen. From other reviews, it seems this screen won't support a fingerprint reader. Even though I tried installing the fingerprint software in fastboot mode (and used 2 different fingerprint readers). Now my daughter says the touch is not registering properly. Only reasons why I bought this on Amazon was that I had Gift Cards and needed fast shipping. Otherwise, I would have gotten a recommended one off eBay.**Update 11/14/2023: Seller reached out to make things right, saying the screen may have been damaged during shipment. I opted for a refund instead of a replacement, since I have since purchased a screen that comes with a fingerprint reader. Updated my rating to reflect that great customer service. They stand by their product.

Bought this to replace a failing screen on my Pixel 6 Pro. I believed this replacement with work with the finger print sensor. IT DOES NOT.I ordered a finger print sensor from a repair shop in Chicago. After Installing the new sensor and calibrating the sensor would not work. I contacted the Chicago repair shop and was advised the sensor works only with an OEM replacement screen.As fingerprint is the only option for biometric unlocking on a PIXEL 6 Pro, this screen took away a very important function.The seller should either find a way to make the finger sensor work with their phone and put a Disclaimer on Amazon that the fingerprint sensor will not work with their screen.
