Tragically misleading
I went against the plethora of negative reviews and purchased this adapter, perhaps I was looking for some kind of miracle. Well, the solution never came and the mass was correct, this adapter does not compensate for HP devices being simply made without Display Alt mode. What frustrated me the most was how misleading the description for this item was, the home website mentioned HP Pavillion laptops and model numbers being appropriate. However, this was certainly not the case. I spend hours scouring forums and fiddling around with drivers and came to the conclusion there is no Windows 10 support for this adapter. More possibly, because of the deficiency in Display Alt mode support on mentioned supported Pavillions.
