Can’t really go wrong for the price.A tenner for a Himalayan salt lamp, with On/Off switch and not one but TWO 15w ‘cooker bulbs’, what’s not to like, seriously?Just weighed mine and to my surprise it’s just over 3kg including the wooden base and lamp holder, so no complaints there!Downsides are that the colour is a bit pale and washed out so it gives a brighter light than my larger and darker orange one, but that may be partly due to the density of the salt in a larger lamp allowing less light to escape?Also my larger one has a nice dimmer switch, which I tested and gives a range of between around 3.8w and 15.3w, so one can adjust not only the light level, but the energy consumption. So for example I could run it for 24 hours on the dimmest setting for 2.5p and on the brightest for 10p. Not a huge difference but over time it will add up, and the lower settings are better for a night light or just gentle ambience.Anyway, back to this one, you’re not realistically going to get an inline dimmer switch included at this price, so that’s the only downfall. However it’s not just a wall plug affair either, so you have the nice little rocker On/Off switch to operate it without plugging and unplugging all the darned time! Oh, and it has three cut outs in the base giving you a range of options as to where the power lead exits, so that’s you can have the most attractive side facing the room. A nice touch.I’m not sure about the claims of air purification, and negative ions etc that these salt lamps are supposed to give. I just like them for their warming glow and organic look.Please remember to use them for at least a few hours regularly, or they will attract moisture (particularly in winter) and you’ll have a real salty mess on your table to deal with. (Don’t ask me how I know 😄).They’re a tenner, GET ONE!P.s. forgot to mention, they come in a lovely printed cardboard box with very stout foam inner packaging to protect the salt block. I was expecting a brown card box and a plastic bag or some sort of bubble wrap. Very impressive.

I love mine. True to size and weight. Arrived brilliantly packaged with spare bulbs. Has a rocker switch. Gives my room lush orange glow which is so relaxing and makes great night light. You have to put bulb in yourself but it's very easy. Mine the 3 to 5 kg one great price at £15.99

As described, nice item, gives off a lovely glow. One star knocked off only because bulb holder was broken despite being well packaged (lots polystyrene chips and sealed box then put inside an Amazon box + packing paper for delivery) so suspect damage was prior to being packaged, but still worked so the person i bought it as a gift for decided to keep it. (I didn't have time to open and check it before gifting).Also liked that wooden base has 4 subtle notches carved out as options of where power lead comes out so you can choose which way round you prefer to have as the front of the lamp especially as the shape and look of each lamp will be different.I would happily buy another as a gift and maybe one for myself too.

It works well and has a pretty orange glow. Was delivered safely. Keeps it burning to prevent puddles of water forming in front of the lamp.
