Incredible Microphone *AND* The Nicest Seller Ever
The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the images, the hydrophone comes in a very well packaged protective case with whatever accessories you have requested. I took the XLR cable end so I could plug it directly into my Zoom H4. The microphone has a wonderful sensitivity without the tendency to spike unnecessarily (a problem in a lot of cheaper hydrophones) and instead offers a very smooth frequency and volume response, even at higher recording gains. The cable is very sturdy as is the microphone head and it is quite literally plug-and-play as long as you've some form of audio device such as a Zoom, Tascam or a mixer.Secondly, and perhaps even more impressively, the seller is a wonderful person. Super communicative and incredibly helpful, immediately providing assistance with all of my questions and going out of his way to provide me with extra accessories for a time pressured project.Whether purchasing for an individual sound-art project, field recording or a school activity, I cannot recommend this product or seller highly enough.Dr Jye O'SullivanNCAD, Dublin
