The clock looks good, is sturdy, and is a good size and weight. It has a large, warm yellow backlit display showing time, the date, temperature and set alarm time. The light comes on when the top snooze button is pressed. It does not stay on so does not disrupt sleep. The clock takes 3x AAA batteries and is fairly easy to set using the buttons and switches at the back. To set it, you simply slide the left side set of switches to either alarm, date or time. Use the buttons along the top to change hour, minute, month etc. You then have to slide the switch to lock position each time to confirm change. The clock has an alarm function with large snooze button at the top. The alarm is set or cancelled by sliding the right side set of switches to desired position. The alarm is not the loudest but I use this alongside my Alexa or phone alarm. So far it has kept pretty accurate time. I would buy again.

Was searching for a wooden clock for the bedside table to reduce reliance on my phone for a 6am alarm! Does the job, easy to program time etc just takes a bit of fiddling around with the buttons on the back when you first get it. Nice wooden finish, you have to tap the button on the top in the night and a subtle yellow light comes on for about 10 seconds - all good. Alarm is pretty basic and turning it off rather than snoozing it is a slight annoyance as you have to turn it off using the switch on the back - but honestly, very happy and would recommend.

This bedside clock is small and neat and well designed, the numbers are large and clear and can be seen without putting my glasses on. The light is perhaps a little too bright in a dark room but it certainly means you can see the time. Most importantly the mechanism is silent, l find ticking noises really irritating when l’m trying to sleep! It fits easily on my bedside table and matches the blonde wood and was easy to set up, even for a technology numpty like me. I haven’t used the alarm yet but it looks easy enough to operate.

I am pleased with my new alarm clock. The display isn't lit up all the time, so it doesn't disturb my sleep. Pushing the button on the top lights it up for a few seconds if I need to see the time in the night. It even tells the temperature, which was a nice surprise.

It was actually bigger than I expected. Stupid, I know, given the dimensions are given... But, on the plus side, it's legible, looks nice and - what I was looking for - shows the temperature too. On the minus side, the light is very bright, so there's not much chance of checking the time in the middle of the night without lighting up the room. And the alarm stopped working. Not a peep. So I overslept and that was not good.

Clock looks very nice, but the whole point was I wanted a clock I could glance at at night to know the time.Unfortunately to light it up you have to push the button at the top.Unless I've missed something?

+ve - simple to set-ve - cannot see time in the dark ( not AOD) , in fairness doesn’t claim to do so. If you press top button the time illuminates, and goes out in 3 secs. Not too bright, but depends how light a sleeper your partner is.In sum, it’s an old fashioned alarm clock.
