Very bright, high quality LEDs
I have bought a number of product of this type over the years. For the number of LEDs and their brightness (level 5 is extremely bright) this is excellent value for money. Also, assuming that both the infrared and red light frequencies are as stated, it is one of the few reasonably priced products that operates in the therapeutically effective range. I think it has been helpful for my hip pain, but time will tell. Timer function is good. If you wanted to you could keep this one for a long time. Fabric is very soft and mouldable so it would also work as a partial face mask.

Good value so far
It’s really cheap considering it’s the spot on frequency for red and infra red light - about £60 cheaper than others. It works fine so far - I wouldn’t trust it for long terms use, like if you wanted to use it for your face for the next few years it seems like it may well conk out - but if you have an injury you want to attend to for a few months it’s great. I’ve got a frozen shoulder which I’m using it for and I’ll be getting surgery which I’ll be using for scar healing

Flimsy USB
Lights seem to be OK. I found the distance between the control and the band slightly too small for my liking, but this wasn't an issue. The main problem is that I disconnected it from my laptop and the metal part of the USB stayed in the laptop. On closer inspection it's a very cheap part, so I'm going to replace it with a new one plus maybe a battery pack, but if you're not confident with that sort of replacement job I'd avoid this as it's clearly not built to last.

No Instructions
I could have awarded this item a 4 or 5 Star but because there were no "OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS" I can only give it 2.They did provide a sort of "INSTRUCTION Manual" which states on the front cover "Before starting your first session, please make sure that you read this manual as it MAY explain important operating procedures"It does provide a very limited instruction but none related on how to navigate the remote control and what the numbers and letters on the remote control mean.So I am in the dark as to how to actually use it and even though I applied it to my arthritic knee and I have to say that my knee felt more supple afterwards, I still have no idea what I am doing or how to get the best out of it.This is a very irresponsible oversight by the seller not to provide proper instructions and they are doing themselves a great disservice as I think that this is probably a very good piece of kit if only I knew how to use it properly.

Disappointed as description saying ‘convenient USB charging’ is misleading.
It states on the sales page ‘convenient USB charging’ and that’s one of the main reasons I chose this particular device. The panel fully lights up when plugged in but I’ve given it only 3-stars because it’s not possible to charge it and use wirelessly as implied.I have a red light therapy face mask that I charge by plugging into the mains then I can use it wirelessly, so based on the description I fully expected this to do the same.I contacted the seller who replied saying ‘they are usually chargeable’ and suggested I contact Amazon for an exchange. I wasn’t entirely convinced by his lack of detail and didn’t want to go through the inconvenience of returning it only to get a replacement item that was just the same, so I scoured the sales page again for information and found an illustration under ‘product images’ showing it plugged into a power bank. There’s no written information on the sales page saying you need to buy and use a power bank to charge it and the ‘product image’ actually implies that one comes with it, so the description on the sales page and from the seller is confusing and misleading. I contacted him again to query this but he hasn’t replied.

Fabulous little pad!
I have a collapsing ankle. I wrap this pad around it when I’ve been out on a long walk and I recover a lot faster. I also use it on aches and pains and it soothes them. It’s so versatile. I love the science behind it. Time will tell if it makes long lasting changes. So far I am impressed.

A good beginner design
This seems like a good introductory design, works well, though only had it a few days,I like that it's Red & IR.One issue is it won't wrap all around my body, the stretchy velcrowon't reach, but that's a minor issue I can solve via another means,So although early days, I have a relatively inexpensive device I can experiment withred and infra red light with, so I'm perfectly happy with the device.

Weak power connection stopped working .
The connection between the on/ off / timer switch and the led belt is inherently too week and started to become unreliable quickly.. After a few months it became unusable, but when I tried to start the returns process I found that there there could be be returned after delivery. I bought a replacement that has a much more robust type of connection. Don't buy this product.
