Q: Is this band comfortable for everyday use?

The band is flexible and comfortable for all day wear. The only issue I have with it is that it does, like tread on a tire accumulate dirt, dust and debris. (no gravel yet) When doing yard work or anything of that nature it needs to be cleaned often. But it looks and wears well other than that.

Q: the circumference of my wrist is about 8.5 inch, is this band long enough? my Apple band fits I use the next to last hole.

Q: Can the watch band adapter be used separately to fit another band to it?

As of Feb 2016, the spring bars connecting our Tire Tread band to the adapter can NOT be removed. This provides greater security for your Apple Watch, which we think is of the utmost importance!

Q: Will the L/XL fit a 9in wrist?

The XL/XXL TIRE TREAD Soft Silicone Apple Watch Band 42mm Black Rubber Sport iWatch Strap definitely fits a 9" wrist and well beyond. My wrist is 9 1/2 and I have holes left over.
