Very cute! Works like a charm
I gave it a 5 star rating because it's so easy to keep with you. Won't recommend to people with extremely huge hands but with my average hands it's rather good! Lasted me around 2-3 months but then again, I didn't take the product too seriously. Until I realised I loved it to bits xD I stopped buying this because of my new computer set up and didn't need it this small anymore for work. But it's good to take on a bus and use it on the flat empty part of the laptop ;)

Great little travel mouse
Great little travel mouse. It packs away nicely and I dont need to worry about battery power whilst travelling. It doesnt feel super robust, but thats the compromise for a lightweight product.

Small mouse - best mouse I have used
It was smaller than my previous small mouse which I needed for my laptop, but I find it is much more responsive and is easier to move about on my collapsible desk. It retracts with as little cable as needed. Highly recommended and should it break I would buy the same again

3 Stars
Works fairly well and is highly portable due to small size, but can be hard to use at times for the same reason. However, it is prone to breaking after a few months of use, so I would recommend buying more than one of them at a time.

Nice Design, Functional - I'm Happy!
I'm a fan of these retractable mice - there's no cord dangling around and no need to charge like cordless mice - so a very compact alternative and works for me.... previously I've had those belkin mini mice with the retractable mechanism being external... still slightly annoying - and they only tend to last for about a year.... having spent almost a tenner on this, I'm hopeful it'll last a bit longer....The verdict so far..... this is standard mouse size but having the retract mechanism inside, concealed, makes the whole mouse experience considerably more convenient than anything else I've tried... the buttons are positive, the bottom is very slippery - but easy to control... the wheel offers very little resistance - something I'm getting used to.The design is black and shiny - like my pc... the mollusc like stripey decoration that you can see around the side is actually ribbed and rubberised which has a sort of reassuring feel to it.....The weak point I can see is the way the thin wire connects to the USB plug - hopeful about it lasing longer than a year but not very....Out of a huge array of mice, I chose this one.... it's turned out to be very convenient and functional... fits in well with the scenery... and I'm happy with it... oh... and the USB plug tucks away tidily when traveling.

Great little travel mouse
I've used a couple of little travel-mice like this with retractable cables and while you're never going to find anything this size that feels as comfortable to use as a full-sized mouse, it does exactly what I want. Small and compact and functional. Wheel rotation is nice and button/wheel clicking feels just right. No problems with bouncing contacts (single click causing a double click) or unresponsive clicks and surface tracking is fine on any surface you'd expect it to work on.

Not good
Haven't had the problems mentioned elsewhete with the cord retraction, but do have some serious gripes:- Mouse wheel doesn't really work. You can wheel it round for an age without it scrolling, or with only fitful scrolling of a few lines very irregularly. Far more annoying than it sounds.- The design of the buttons means that, if you're holding down one mouse button, it can get in the way of pressing the other button. Not a problem for everyday use but if you're gaming or doing anything needing simultaneous button useage it's a serious shortcoming.- Generally feels quite cheap. Considering the price I expected better. Not impressed.

Excellent alternative to more fragile big name brands
For some reason a rival retailer also sells this mouse but it's online-only when they're a retail store. That made no sense to me so bought it from Amazon when it was on offer in a sale. If you find the picture for the wireless version of the same mouse you'll get a better idea of what this looks like. Despite being made by Targus it's a full-sized mouse rather than their usual "laptop travel" kind and also heavier than usual. looking down vertically the mouse is 11.5cm long, just under 6cm wide and 4cm at its highest point behind the buttons. that 11.5cm of depth - with slightly angled-in edges to rest your thumb, mean that it's perfect for adult hands and a few months since buying it, the worst that's happened is the finish becoming shiny - but I don't care since the buttons still work.If you're fed up having to replace bigger-name full sized-mice when they die off after a 1yr-18 months, take a chance on the Targus when it's on offer for less than £10. The only note is that the packaging makes the mouse bigger than your letterbox so you need to be in to receive it.
