Used with a PCC, works great. I dont know how well it would hold up under rifle ejection and case heat.

Works but not ready for rapid fire
It works fine for standard target practice. But if you get into rapid fire situations, it falls off. So depending on what your purpose is for this, it may be great for you.I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't fall off under extreme use. Worked great otherwise

Works well after a slight modification
This brass catcher is designed for a side ejection firearm. I bought this unit with the intention of modifying it. I added a strip of galvanized metal to one side of the top of the opening to reach up and over to catch the brass from a top ejection firearm. This modification works great!

It Catches the Brass
Easy install if you already have a rail on top. Works great. Collected several mags worth of shells. Excellent addition to the range bag.Great design and ease of removal

Great design for catching brass
Anyone interested in saving their brass for reloading knows that anything you can do to make collecting the brass easier, the better. Yes, brass could get picked up off the ground, but that's more work, and it could get stepped on by someone before you get to it, so keeping it off the ground in the first place makes it faster and easier to save.This catcher has a nice Picatinny mount that is relatively low profile. The attachment on the basket is adjustable front to back, and the mount an be adjusted in and out depending on how wide the gun itself is, so it should be able to fit well on a lot of different rifles.The shell of the catcher is a sturdy metal wire, and the woven basket attaches to it with Velcro straps, so it could be easily taken apart for cleaning if desired.All in all, a nicely constructed catcher basket at a fair price.
