Q: Waterproof or water resistant?

I use them to get my pool skimmer baskets out once the weather cools, and to rinse my chlorine pitcher out in the pool water. I don't leave the gloves submerged for long, but water has not gotten through yet.

Q: Would they work in the snow I’m a truck driver and have to chain up and need good gloves that allow me to use my fingers and not get frozen

I bought them to use around our farm. They give me the dexterity I need to do my chores, but I'm not working in the snow. I suspect they would not give you the warmth you're looking for. I buy snowmobile type gloves for working in the snow.
