I am pleased to provide candid feedback on the Bubble Bath Mat, an item I recently purchased from Venturi via Amazon.com.Each morning, moments after my alarm catapults me from the depths of sleep, I stagger into my bathroom feeling tired, hazy, and at times, disoriented. I proceed to strip down nude, after which I casually I step into my bathtub. This is the moment when my feet land upon the soft supple rubber of this Bubble Bath Mat.As the hot water rains down upon my body, my feet are stable and secure, as this bath mat provides the foundation that I need for a safe and carefree showering experience. I proceed to shampoo my hair, rinse, then lather my body with soap and, finally, rinse from head to toe, all the while maintaining optimum balance as I stand anchored upon this bath mat.I have slipped a total of zero times since I installed this oval-shaped piece of rubber. In fact, I haven't even lost my footing or come close to falling or collapsing.One of this mat's most useful features is the series of evenly spaced suction cups on its bottom side. This mat will remain firmly adhered to the surface of your bathtub. And better yet, the length of time for which the suction effect can be maintained is seemingly infinite.In summary, I would describe this Bubble Bath Mat as well-built and reliable, as well as calming. Its reasonable price makes it a great value and worthwhile investment. Take a shower and stand on this mat, and enjoy your shower to the fullest extent possible.

I have had this for several weeks now and it really does resist growth of mold and mildew. Have not yet had to scrub it with bleach. And another nice feature is that it is clear so you can see if anything is growing underneath. Other reviewers have remarked on a strong chemical smell but I have not noted any. On the minus side, it is not really comfortable to stand on, but to me that is a minor inconveniance and outweighed by the benefits.

I liked how it was nonslip, it worked well and I liked the anti microbial meant it took a very long time to get moldy in the tub. I didn’t like how my kids would complain that the holes in the plastic would hurt them when they sat on it in the bath. Not great for kids with sensory sensitivities. I also did not like the way the holes felt on my feet when I showered.

This bath /shower mat has a very strong suction that will keep it well secured in your bath tub. The tub should have a smooth surface so the suction cups can attach to the tub. It is great to avoid slips and falls when standing, or getting out of the bathtub. Highly recommended.

I’ve had this mat for a few months now. I clean it regularly and hang it after every use. I’ve tried white vinegar and other cleaners, but I can’t get the unpleasant plastic smell out. I might put this in the guest bathroom and buy a replacement from another company.

I will start out by saying I purchased this mat for my apartment bathroom 7/26/2022, and I’m just now replacing it and purchasing a new one 11/12/23! I made sure to scrub the suction part of the mat to keep it as clean as possible and the times I forgot to hang it up to dry I regret, because I could’ve gotten more longevity from it. But now there’s just too much build up and soap scum so it’s time for a new one.

This seemed like a nice bathtub mat, non-slip, nice color, reasonable price, however...I'd read the other reviews and saw a few that mentioned the smell of it, color coming off on the tub, etc, but they seemed to be only a small percentage and I liked the look, so I ordered it. I'm not sensitive to chemical odors, the scent of paint or varnish, etc, but this thing has a funky smell. Over a week in, I'm still leaving my bathroom fan on quite a bit to pull it out of the house.On top of that, it's not all that comfortable to stand on. Each of the rubber nubs on top is over a suction cup on the bottom, so it's like standing on stones, or maybe on steel diamond plate barefoot. If you go barefoot all the time and have tough feet, you'll probably not notice. For the more wimpy among us, it's not pleasant. I weigh 190, but I can see where it might be even worse if you're heavier.Worst of all, however, is that my tub now looks like it was attacked by a herd of indigo octopuses (octopi?). There are blue suction cup marks all over the bottom of the tub - and it's a fiberglass unit, so I can't scrub it with abrasive cleansers. Mold and mildew remover, bleach, and lime scale remover, tried one after the other with a rinse in between, DID NOT remove the rings.It's as if the manufacturer used excessive pigment in the rubber to get the deep blue color and the excess is still leaching out on things. I sure hope these guys don't make condoms too, or you might forever be known as Smurf-boy! They need to take a solvent or something to it to remove the excess dye before they sell it - or start over from scratch. Or stop making these entirely.My tub had been freshly cleaned before I used this mat; I'm thinking that perhaps, if it had a layer of soap scum or hard water mineral buildup on the surface, I might have dodged the blue marks. Obviously, they didn't send an advisory that it must be used only in dirty tubs...Bottom line: there are dozens of other choices out there. This one is not a good choice and mine is going back. Avoid this mat at all costs!
