These 8oz containers are perfect for one serving. They stack in the freezer without taking up a lot of space. Push down on the center of the lid after filling, they will make a very tight seal. It is a bit of a challenge to get the lid off, but then just lay the top on loosely and microwave as usual. Very surprised to see how they came out of the dishwasher... no damage, ready to use again. Nice product.

I love these deli containers! I now live alone and use the ones that are 8 and 16 oz. exclusively for freezing home preserved fruit and vegetables for myself. I have used other freezing containers and another brand of similar deli containers, but they have not held up as well as these have. These do not shatter or crack the few times I have dropped one on the concrete floor by the freezer, and the covers don't warp in the microwave. I like that there is a "Fill Line," the covers fit snugly and can be pressed down in the center to remove air. When the cover is completely seated properly, there is no leakage even when tipped on its side. They stack easily, and if you need the contents in a hurry the containers are microwavable for a reasonable length of time--I have only left them in long enough that the partially thawed contents could be moved into a glass dish. I am in the second year of using the forty 8 oz. containers ordered last year, and this year I ordered 40 more plus 40 addition 16 oz.containers, as well, I am very happy with these purchases,

I use these for mixing epoxy for crafting. The inside is smooth and the cured epoxy breaks off easily, so if I'm careful, I can reuse them once or twice. I can mix enough epoxy for a small tabletop with enough room to not be concerned about overfilling.They'd be great for food storage, or other crafting uses. The lids are a bonus.

I use these for freezer meals that can be popped out and cooked in an electric pressure cooker. This container is the right size for a soup or other family meal that will fit in the pot and the straight sides make it easy to get the frozen contents out of the container. The plastic is not fragile while it is cold, unlike other containers I have tried.

The containers are advertised as 64 oz. containers. When I carefully poured 8 cups (64 oz) of water into the container the water came right up to the very brim. I could not even put the lid on it without water gushing over the side. These are advertised as freezer safe. If you were going to freeze soup or other liquids in them you would have to reduce the amount to 6 cups.The containers are sturdy and I will use them in a variety of ways, but they should not be advertised as 64 oz containers.
