What made the manufacturer not think to have a lock on our small outdoor fridge I will never know. One trip of it getting opened and I knew we needed a solution. These did the trip perfectly and held strong for a 7k mile trip. We had just one and it was easy enough to open with the piece of mind that it locked when shut so no need to follow behind the kiddos to make sure.Of note, this will not work on the new 12v magic chef “large” camper fridge/freezers. Not only do the seals suck on those, but the tiny outer glass edge makes it difficult to find something like this to fit. This works for the smaller dorm style fridge units.

So we have an upright freezer that we keep in our garage but on occasion the freezer door had miraculously popped opened without us knowing only to come out to a defrosted freezer full of meats and what was once frozen goods. Of course we were sorely disappointed so we ended up getting a smart thermostat alarm that would alert us if the freezer temperature rises above a certain temperature which works great when we’re home and we can go out to close the door before we lose another load of food. But in the event when no one is home, I decided to look at other ideas and I came across this handy child proof latch and thought I could use it to secure our freezer door to ensure that we wouldn’t need to worry at all about the door ever popping open unexpectedly again. The adhesive is strong and it was simple to install. It has worked great and really gives us the peace of mind.

These work great! I love the ease of use.I was concerned about being able to easily open the fridge with one hand, but once you get used to it, there is no issue whatsoever.My 4yo can operate it, which is kinda nice, since he can be trusted to get things out when asked, and my problematic 2yo has not figured it out. Despite being able to dexterously open childproof lids and packaging of all kinds.I'm sure it's a matter of time, but this has bought me a couple of months without eggs on my floor, so it's a win!Sturdy, sticks firmly on a good clean surface, and works easily. 100% would buy again.

These install in just a few minutes, I have a 3 door fridge (opens from center outward), and a child that likes to get in the refrigerator side and basically destroy (mix things together) all sorts of stuff, soo had to lock her out. This works absolutely wonderfully.I mounted it on the top of the fridge door, where she can not reach, and its still super easy to open, sturdy, and serves it purpose.Great product with no issues.

These work great on RV fridges when traveling. It allows you to unlock the fridge for normal use and then lock when you hit the road. Our fridge door side is kind of narrow so there is some overlap on the lock but it's holding up. So, if they could make any improvements, it would be to make them slightly more compact.

I think these are great but I give a 3 star rating because the top one doesn’t latch as far as the freezer part it still does shut but doesn’t latch to lock.

Great concept but the adhesive is so weak. My toddler ripped this right off the adhesive
