The waterproof Boonie made from a trilaminate fabric with side ventilation holes provides optimal protection against rain and sun and ensures a very pleasant head climate. Very very good hat. Great value.
Completely waterproof, fits my large bald head perfectly. Very comfortable.It is so waterproof that when I wore it on a hot sunny day on a hike it held all of my head sweat inside and when I took it off the sweat poured down, not a hint on the outside I was even sweating in the hat.The rim can be moulded for sun shading and the strap works as it should keeping the hat on in the wind. The strap us not uncomfortable if the hat is pushed off my head and down my back.No scratchy or lumpy seams anywhere, all finished well and not obtrusive at all.The only slight negative is that the wind will lift up the brim or blow it down but that is the nature of these hats.

Good general use hat to keep the sun off
Bought this for summer time at work as I work outside alot , and it certainly does the trick in keeping the sun off my neck and gives good all round protection from the hot beating 🌞 sun.

Small but does a good job
It's good quality, keeps the sun off and the rain, but considering I have quite a small head and bought a medium, it's very tight and leaves a red mark around my head!

Just wore this today in the lake district and it performed abysmalyGot size medium but it fits like a large there is no way to tighten the circumference to help it stay in placeThe chinstrap is usless it does not tighten and stay in placeAnd it is not waterproofOverall not in the slightest worth the money

Great waterproof hat
Excellent hat, I found that it fitted me great, I've been out in heavy rain on numerous occasions and it is waterproof, all in all it for me,it is perfect waterproof head gear,I'm very pleased and would have no hesitation in recommending it. I shall be purchasing another for home use.

Well made, but with a few glaring flaws
This hat is well made, but with a few glaring flaws. The size of the hat in terms of diameter is fine, but the hat is very "shallow" and sits high on my head. This might be because it's an extra large, and perhaps smaller ones will be better, but I can't say for sure. The brim was extremely stiff on purchase, the hat had to be machine washed and rinsed to get the pictured amount of "floppiness" and as delivered it looked like a Quaker hat.On the plus side the fit and finish is excellent, and it came sufficiently packaged.
