Q: Hi can you tell me how can i buy this item with the VAT releif for my registered disability please?

You have to write to the individual seller, the problem is that not all who supply the goods are the sellers on which case it's most likely going to be Amazon. I have so far failed to get reimbursed for 2 items bought in this way. HMRC advised it was not down to them but the seller. If you achieved this do please let me know.

Q: Is it possible to wash the gel insert, and not just the cover

I bought this as a gift for an elderly gentleman who had two replacement hips . As far as I can recall the gel insert should be removed when you wash the outer part of the cushion. I think the insert was in a plastic, so presumably you could surface wash that by hand. I do not think they would recommend putting it in a washing machine. It might well rupture and you would lose the contents.

My cushion supposed to have a Gel insertt, all I had was cardboard, no Gel to be seen. Attempted contact to suppliers, no reply. Personally I had one of these previously many years back and it was perfect, Kept me comfortable for hours This one I used for less than a week and couldnt work out what was wrong, the n I took it apart to find a corrugated cardboard pack where the Gel insert should have been. Wont be buying one of these ever agaiun
