A little pricey for what it is, but it does the job properly
Was a little concerned about paying nearly £50 for something like this, but this had good reviews and let face it with items worth several hundreds of pounds you want the thing not to fail! There is a limit to how excited you can get about something like this, but stacking the tumble dryer has saved useful space, and does make filling it a lot easier. There is little information about it here but it is made of pretty tough hard wearing plastic, that copes with the jiggling around that you will need to do to get a tumble dryer on top of it. The lips not only stop lateral movement, but also stop the feet moving forward (helps for positioning). The shelf is surprisingly useful when getting stuff out of the tumble dryer. It comes with a strap which threads through the stacking/shelf kit and around both the dryer and washing machine to keep everything together. The strap is tightened by a good quality metal tensioning ratchet. I'm very confident the dryer is not coming off!As another reviewer suggests - THINK ABOUT THE TUMBLE DRYER FEET BEFORE LIFTING IT! You probably want to take the feet off. We couldn't take ours off, and the back feet were further in such that they didn't rest on anything. To solve this I cut a piece of wood 600mm the width of the dryer (and the similar thickness as the feet) and placed it under the dryer horizontally by the two back feet to support it.Despite this problem I still recommend it mainly because of the strap.

Not sure what I did without this
Having just moved house, we wanted to avoid having to trapse washing out to the garage or outbuilding, but the utility room only had space for the washing machine. As such, I knew that stacker kits existed, and so found this one. I also knew that some people stack their devices without use of any dedicated kit, but that felt a bit dangerous to me, so I thought I'd go down the proper route. My washing machine and tumble dryer are both made by Siemens. This universal kit from Wpro works a treat.I found that I didn't need to remove the feet from the tumble dryer as they didn't foul the path of the drawer.I do concur with the other reviewers that noted you need to cut each of the sticky pads in half so that you can provide protection on the upper and lower sides of the unit. They should really update the instruction manual to advise of this.I must have skipped over the bit in the guide that advises you of how far forward to position the kit on top of the washing machine, because I only noticed it after I had managed to get the tumble dryer on top, by which point it was too late to move it. Fortunately I could still get the drawer open with my fingers, although in hindsight I think I'd have preferred it to be slid a little further forward. I could always choose just not shut it fully.I like that the ratchet is quite industrial, and you can slide the whole ratchet device round the top of the tumble dryer so that it features on the right hand side instead of the left - which in my case keeps it out of the way.The drawer is a godsend, as I can simply pull stuff out of the tumble dryer and sort it before putting out in the right places without having to keep bending down to a basket or have it fall right to the floor.Having the tumble dryer stacked on top of the washing machine has saved a lot of grief and made my utility room a lot more functional.Only down-side is the inevitable point in the future where I have to un-mount it, which I'm not looking forward to. Also, I have a floor-standing oil boiler right next to it, which will probably want a service at some point, in which case I imagine the engineer's going to want my double-decker white goods out of the way for that as well.I'm giving this product 5 stars because it's been such a good purchase and I cannot be without it, but I will caveat that point because I paid £21.99 from amazon at the time, so given the current price is £39.99 (at time of review), that feels a bit steep to me. I'd have been content paying up to £30, so I'll leave that thought with you...

Great job - somewhat pricey but hey, where's the competition!?
As other reviewers have mentioned, somewhat overpriced at £39 for what it's made from; however it does the job well and secured a White Knight dryer above a Bosch washing machine. The two units are of different widths and different depths but the drawer/mounting hardware has coped with it, if I took some care over the general fore/aft placement over the washing machine, and everything is secured safely, and done several wash/dry cycles since, so no problem. Only slight hitch was that taking off the dryer feet didn't allow the dryer to sit securely onto the plastic drawer cover - due to the dryers shallow depth, so,, as other reviewers have done, I cut 3 pieces of timber planking 10-12mm thickness and approx. 595 width which sit in the supplied framework and support the dryer bottom surface. None of these are visible when the units are stacked, and the drawer is left functional. The combined unit is much improved ergonomically for transferring washed clothes from washer to dryer, so completely happy with that. All I need do now is to fit a dryer exterior extractor tube!

Space saver
What a simple but effective idea! We wanted to stack our washing machine and tumble dryer and this little kit was perfect. Fits a standard size set of machines well. Strap goes under/over machines and ratchets together to keep the stack firm. Great pull-out tray between machines for folding my tumble drying. Space saving idea. Well worth the money.

It does a good job but the strap is a little unsightly
It does a good job but the strap is a little unsightly. The shelf does not pull out as the feet of my tumble drier does not allow this where they are situated. It would be better as just a basic cage.

Great value and quality
This is one of the best pieces of home equipment we have bought in a long time. It does exactly what is says really efficiently and at a very affordable price. It is robustly built and very easy to install. We have installed our washing machine and drier stack inside a cupboard and, if you have limitations on back to front space, you should check that you have enough space at the back of the drier for a vent hose. The locking mechanism is very easy to install and keeps everything very tight.
