Plenty of power at any speed
Very good power at all speeds, won't crap out at lower ranges. Good controls and design, swapable disc 5 or 6 inch. Very long cord is helpful. Dust control is as not bad, I always use a vac.

Great sander with one caveat
The media could not be loaded. I bought this knowing I would need to sand a ton of IPE boards and my old Dewalt palm sander was going to kill my wrists in the attempt. Not wanting to shell out $600 or more for a sander, this one caught my eye after seeing some reviews.Well I have been impressed. This thing really does a great job working through the grits and dust collection is decent as well. One huge caveat, there seems to be a design flaw in the way the cord is attached. Many others have reported issues with the sander shutting off and not working after being in use for quite a while. I had this issue after 4 months of use. I reached out to customer service through their website and after a bit of back and forth, they identified the issue. Instead of having me return it, they provided a video of how to open up the sander and cut out part of the cord and splice it back. It looks like a portion of the wire had weakened or broken internally. The fix only took about 5-10 minutes and everything is working great again. While the DYI aspect of addressing the issue is a bit wonky, it was much faster than sending it in for a replacement. I have since used the attached velcro strap to double back the cord on itself to provide tension relief in case that was the initial cause of the failure. So if you are careful not to yank or hold the sander by the cord and possibly up for fixing it yourself, this is a definite buy!

Doesn’t work
They sanding mesh paper doesn’t stick to backer. Thought it may be isolated incident I bought replacement backer and new disks and same issue. When paper stuck it worked great but now I’m out 250 with need for a new sander

Great Sander/ Quality is very good.
What a great item for the price. I have been looking at some sanders for a long time, but I could never justify the cost for my DIY small project stuff. Then I found this one, checked the reviews, looked for videos online (not many out there). I decided to take a leap of faith and give it a shot, and boy am I glad I did. This thing feels high end, works great (I am an amateur) and was a reasonable price point. Dust collection works well at keep particulates at a lower level, cord is more than long enough, and the switches/buttons feel well built. Overall I am thrilled to have found this brand and this sander, I am eager to try some other items in their tool system. I do have a review vid but I am not able to post it here (search for it), it keeps removing my review. Feel free to ask any questions. It's really nice to find a decent quality tool at a reasonable price point. Take Care.

Just as good as Festool
Buy it. It's literally just as good as Festool or Mirka. I've used them all. It's quite, hooks right up to my dust extraction, variable speed, comfortable, and well priced.

Nice budget sander
I don't have an equivalent Mirka or Festool to compare, but it feels very smooth and lightweight. Suction is pretty good too. Festool dust hose fits perfect on the dust port. It's possible to retrofit the Plug it socket in the back, if you are into modifying and voiding your warranty. When I opened it inside, looks like PCB will be the weak point, but only time will tell. Overall good quality sander, less than 1/3 of the cost of Festool and Mirka. Adding an interface pad increases the vibration, which seems to be common issue on 6" sanders with 5mm orbit.

Buy it!
I’ve been using this sander for over a year and LOVE it! I was previously using a Ryobi Orbital sander and dreaded any amount of sanding. Even with the shop vac hooked up it was a dust fest and after a while my hand would go numb. This sander is so well balanced you can sand all day running through all levels of grit on a large piece of furniture and enjoy the process. I use the 3M Extract Net Discs and have it hooked up to my shop vac & dust separator. There’s virtually no dust in the air. I originally bought the 6”. I later purchased the 5” head to swap out for smaller items. It’s easy to switch heads and it’s great to have the versatility. I was originally looking at buying a Festool or the 3M orbital sander which cost significantly more. After using the Maxxt sander I can’t imagine the others bring any added value, especially not to justify the price difference. Buy it, you will thank yourself over and over again!
