Very good fit on alpha 5000/5100 kitlens
I only just got it but I'm impressed both by it's build quality and fit.There is an inner metal ring which needs to be screwed onto the lens first and then the natural lens hood is click on it's got three little ball bearings or something and it can click onto the lens either in reversed or to be used sticking out as normal..I think if the summer ever gets here it's gonna be very useful. And I have two lenses like this so I'll be able to move it from one to the other on bright sunny days!Right now it's spending It's time on my a5100 and I'm looking forward to taking it out for a spin as it were.RecommendedWell-made.

Works very well
Used on Sony E 16-50mm lens. Fits perfectly and it's a neat idea to be able to use a larger more available filter size as well. Very happy with it overall.

Does the job
There is not a lot to say about this lens hood. It comes with all the necessary bits and can be reversed (or clicked off) to save space. The attachable lens cap is handy too. It seems to be well made and I expect it to last well. So far I am pleased with it.

Well made hood, no issues
I've had this on my NEX-6 for 6 weeks now and it works well.I read some reviews saying the hood catches or traps when the lens retracts, but I've had no such issues. Well the hood caught my finger when the lens was retracting once, I moved my finger away quick and the was no issue, I don't leave my finger where it can get trapped any more!Does it improve the photographs? I don't know, I guess I should try testing that....
