This is a workhorse, meat and potatoes kind of case. Straight forward, night tri-fold stand/cover, space for the Apple Pencil, feels sturdy, protects the screen, looks great. If you're looking for a case that does everything, that comes with some magnetically adhered detachable bluetooth keyboard with a separate Apple Pencil charging cable that doubles as an espresso machine, this isn't the case for you. However, if you're looking for the basics to get your 1st gen iPad Pro safe and functional for a bit more, this case has got you covered.

This is a cost-effective solution to protect your iPad. The case is a thin, hard plastic that mate prevent against some dents or scratches if you drop it, but it has no real ability to absorb forces. The folding front cover is a similar material to apples first party iPad covers, at least as far as I can tell, and so it’s comfortable and useful and how it folds.

Checking the model number on my Ipad and the list of compatible models was key. The case fit perfectly. I love the color and the price was right. It snapped right on and allows me to stand my pad in the landscape position. Haven't figured out how to stand it in the portrait position yet though. Gives protection.

You need this!!! I needed this!! My old one finally wore out and needed replacement. Great feel, good build quality, easy to install, the right size, and good hold of product and feel of device

Good product witmh high end details

I have bought and used the JETech iPad case several times in the past for several iPads and have been pretty satisfied with the product. Unfortunately, this particular case has a couple of differences which really knock it down on the quality scale.For one, and I think I saw other reviewers mention this too, the back of the case's outer surface (which you grab) is made of a hard plastic which is pretty slippery. Previous cases had exposed hard backs covered with a soft and somewhat grabby rubber lining. This slippery hard plastic back necessitates you to grab the iPad really hard in a clamp like fashion to lift it up and hold on to. I mean there is seemingly no friction with this case's back. And you just have to clamp on it for fear of it slipping out of your hand. Now normally this fact shouldn't really be a big issue but clamping down hard on a touch sensitive device even over the top cover even for relatively short durations is not a great idea. I have to say this is actually quite an upsetting issue. They should have just continued with their prior case back which didn't require you to grab the iPad in a death vise clamp.Another problem but not as bad as the case back is the top cover's surface facing and touching the screen. My previous cases had a cover inside surface which was softer, fluffier and seemingly thicker than this new one's. As a result, those previous top covers provided for a better protection. The screen facing surface of the top cover of this case seems to be thinner, less soft, and overall, of not as high a quality as the previous cases.Unfortunately, I have to grade this case low and it's a pity, because JETech used to produce pretty decent iPad covers.

My old cover was on its last legs. The new cover is great quality and stands better. I like the back hard translucent shell, it feels like it offers more protection and looks nice. I’m very pleased.
