A fun game to play.
The game is not only fun to play, but I learned about the different cities on the board through Google. The whole family enjoys playing the Germany game. I like that it is a stand-alone game. We always play the other games when family members visit. We have played the games so many times for years, that the train cards are worn badly. We cannot find replacement cards.g

Another great edition!
Let me start by saying for those who don't know, this is a stand alone game. You don't need any other editions to play.Days of Wonder made another good edition with this one. It is similar enough that anyone who has played any others will be able to play it easy. It is also different enough to make it a new experience compared to the others. Plus, it's Germany!

Great stand alone Ticket to ride game
It's a simple upgrade of your basic ticket to ride games. It's got a slightly differ long and short ticket system as seen in some of the other expansions and it has collecting element to try and get earlier building on lines to collect meeple. I personally enjoy it, and it's a solid hour to maybe hour and thirty minute ticket to ride game.

Great addition to the TTR family
This game is a great addition to the TTR series. It is a stand alone game so you wouldn't need any of the other versions in order to play. Once you get used to the map, game play is very quick. I like the addition of the passengers for extra points. I think this would be challenging - maybe near impossible to play - without opening the double and triple routes in 3+ player games. It is one of our favorite games to play because we can play along with the kids.

New challenge
We own the Europe version, and have played the U.S. version many times, so we were a little hesitant about whether this would be a good addition or not. It’s similar, but enough different that the strategizing has to be a little different. That was enough of a change to make this version fun. My daughter (18), nieces (16 & 11), nephew (8), and I all enjoyed the game. It was tough with five players because sometimes the tracks were taken, and we had to reroute. We are happy with our purchase! In case this isn’t clear in the product description, this is a complete, stand-alone game. You don’t have to own any of the others to successfully play this game.

We love it!
This is a wonderful Game. We have a couple other Ticket To Ride games. We love that this one is a little different than the others. It makes the strategy a little different. It is not an extension so all the needed pieces are in the box. It would make a great gift for anyone who loves strategy games.

Another great full version
As owner of every ticket to ride released this one is a fun one collecting Meeples. Full version so only need to have this box to play the game. It is not an expansion. Little wooden meeples are a different twist on this game and has become a family favorite version.

Terrific game
This is a great game for a family game night or a get together with friends. It is quite fun for different ages from older kids to seniors. Some simple addition math skills are required, along with a bit of strategizing, and there is a bit of chance involved too, so altogether quite engaging. Board and cards and train tokens are well made. The activity moves along at a good pace, when we have played it might take about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours to play one game. We have 3 versions of this game I think, each with a bit of a unique aspect. We would recommend this game.

Absolutely love this TTR
I'm a big TTR fan. Have quite a few of the expansion and base games. Not the legacy or Rails and Sails though. I love Germany cos if the Passenger Meeples. They add that unique angle to this map. We play exclusively at 2 player and we both enjoy this map. TTR can be quite frustrating when your opponent inadvertently blocks you. We play as unconfrontaitonally and diplomatically as we can. Great game. Would always recommend any TTR.

One of the most attractive of the Ticket to Ride versions - and at an incredible price.
This review is for 'Ticket to Ride: Germany', a standalone version of the by now classic game, and for less than £20!Ticket to Ride is a game we play often, mainly the America and the Europe versions. I bought this after a heads-up from Amazon, even though I could find only one review on Amazon of the game, suggesting it hasn't sold. Germany still doesn't tick a lot of boxes for many non-Germans - a mistake, in my opinion. This is a beautiful product: a gorgeous (one-sided) board map of Germany, with all city and country names in German. The train car cards are the same turn of the 20th century images as the ones that came with the Märklin edition of the game. The tickets are the same as those issued with the Jubilee edition - Jubiläums-Ausgabe - again with a turn of the 20th century flavour. Plus 60 meeple-passengers in 6 colours, for whom players can score extra points at the end of the game. What's not to like?In every respect this is another very high-quality version of the game we know and love. I can only assume that this English-language version hasn't sold and has therefore been remaindered at a ridiculously low price.
