Excellent Scraper
This is an excellent scraper. The scraper is very sharp, so on aluminum parts caution has to be exercised so as not to gouge the surface. On cast iron surfaces you still have to be careful, but not like you have to on aluminum or other soft metal surfaces.

I read about the super scraper online, and picked it up for some window frames. It works amazingly well, it's almost like magic!

Forget every other scraper
I purchased this for my husband right before he started rebuilding a 318 and a 440. These became his favorite scraper in a second. They are a well made tool and are worth the cost. When other scrapers get nicks in the edge after so many uses these still are like new.

These scrapers are awesome!!
these scrapers are the best ever. having a stuck head gasket that a scraper wouldn't touch, this took it off with no effort. Do use caution on aluminum as it can shave the metal as well.

You won't regret a purchase
I got this for automotive use. It works better than anything I've tried for removing old gaskets easily. I like that it has a wood handle. I hate cheap plastic handles. I'm not sure if this is typical, but they reached out before it shipped... They stated they had a new engraving machine & asked if I wanted anything etched on my SS-1. I chose a drawing of my Cadillac & it came out great! Super cool & friendly company.

Best scraper for iron Ive ever used.
Works incredibly well on steel. Don't use on aluminum! Must keep flat or will cut into surface.

Great. Just get one. The price seems low once you own it and use it.
Made in Iowa. The scraping power needs to be seen in person to be believed. I think you could scrape diamonds off of diamonds with this thing and the blade still wouldn't have any nicks in it. It's a really useful tool to remove stubborn gasket material from metal surfaces. I've also used it as a milling tool to flatten aluminum surfaces (carefully.) I shaved down a fitting on a warped carburetor and it worked great. It's nice to see a locally made product that outdoes offerings from Snap-On and other big names.
