I bought NaturesPlus Hema-Plex Iron for my sister when she was pregnant and needed extra iron, and it worked great for her! The slow-release formula was gentle on her stomach, and she felt a noticeable boost in energy. Plus, it has vitamin C and other nutrients to help with absorption. A great choice for anyone needing extra iron support!

NaturesPlus HemaPlex iron is an excellent product. I have low iron and have taken it for years. It does not upset my stomach and keeps my iron at a healthy level.

I needed to increase my iron and choose a different supplement than the one I was on, and my doctor recommended this. She said she doesn't normally recommend things on Amazon but she has patients that have done well on this particular one. It does not appear to cause any stomach upset for me which is good, and I'm taking one every other day at my doctor's recommendation and my iron levels are starting to come up. My one complaint about the product is that the listings on Amazon make it difficult sometimes to determine which one you're actually purchasing. There is a slow releasing tablet, which is the one my doctor wants me on, a sustained release tablet that I'm uncertain if that's the same as the slow releasing tablet or not, and a fast acting tablet. Some of the listings seem to show one in the picture and then describe it differently, or offer different options and it's a little bit confusing. I wish it was a little bit clearer which is why I've dropped a star on the review. I was trying to buy a larger package and almost bought the wrong formula.

Hands down the best iron product on the market to raise your hemoglobin without breaking the bank. Plant based, absorbability, MTHFR appropriate, in a slow release tablet makes this easy on your digestion and effective at raising your numbers without much effort or cost on your part. The tabs are somewhat large and definitely smell like they are going to do their job.

Brought my iron up quickly! I had extremely low iron before my homebirth and my midwife told me to take 3 of these each day. By the following week, my iron had gone back up above where they needed it to be. I’m very glad! Be careful not to take these all at once though. I became nauseous when taking them together. But when I separated them throughout the day, I was fine!
