We bought this beside tray for my child’s college dorm room. It was absolutely prefect for a lofted bunk and gives extra space to sit phones, snacks, or anything else you would like to take up to the bunk with you. There is even a recessed cup holder.The quality of the tray definitely surpassed our expectations. Installation was simple and the tray was very sturdy and an additional bonus is that it folds down out of the way when not in use. We will definitely buy another when our next child moves to college.

Purchased this for my son’s dorm room (he’s the top bunk). Easy to put together. Super sturdy and will do the trick. Large enough to hold his phone (or laptop) and has a cup holder. The perfect “nightstand” for a bunk bed.

We did not know till we got to college that these things existed. SOOOO worth the money. Easy to use it just slips on the side of the bed. They have held up well on the side of the bed in a room full of wrestlers. Good size. Fits their phone and a few other things. Lets be honest all they are about is the phone. All plastic so its easy to keep clean. Get one.

Unfortunately I purchased something that is advertised as for a dorm bed, that did not fit the dorm bed due to springs that run across the frame. I was really disappointed and so was my son as this was going to be very useful. Overall, I will say that the item itself is nice and would have been great.

We bought this for a college dorm room and it installed easy on the bunk bed rail. It has been a life safer for my daughter because she is able to put her phone on it and it even has a cup holder cutout that allows a water cup to sit more secure overnight. It folds down during the day so nobody has to hit their head on it when walking by the bunk bed. Its a great product and very sturdy.

I looked at the description and the pictures before I bought this. I feel like the measurements they give are confusing. I'm currently using one of those metal foldy bedframes until I get my permanent one set up. The edge is thin, about a half inch. This shelf doesn't fit because the smallest the clamps go is about three quarters of an inch. I even checked the Q&A and there was a question about this very thing and the seller/manufacturer have the same "max measurement is 1.5 inches." Between that and the pictures, I foolishly thought that the clamps closed all the way so that measurement wasn't necessary. They don't.The shelf also moves way too easy from fully open and locked to folded down if nothing is on the shelf weighing it down.I'll probably return it even though I hate the hassle of returning things.

Purchased 2 for each our CPAP/APAP Machines in our “new to us” toy hauler. Worried that one of us wouldn’t be able to use one without putting it between the two of us and the scare that one would be knocked off the bed during sleep. (Knowing these machines are aprx $1200 brand new , note not including the supplies) I did read one review that noted it worked well for their PAP Therapy device; I took the chance that it will work knowing from other previous reviews as well they fit well on dorm room bed frames. So far so good!! A little worried there is no secure lock on the drop down feature (without spending more money on the solid platform ones that do not drop down) Will update if needed after the holiday weekend.Note: it held pretty well as is, but I added felt/self adhesive to them in hopes they don’t damage/dent the material around the frame itself which gave us a few more CM’s to work with.
