The product arrived well packaged and fits its description. Looks aesthetic. Placing it on the wall requires planning for how it will be used. The pneumatic arm is a little difficult to move. The clips that secure the computer to the stand seem too Fragile.

The media could not be loaded. This arm adjusts in many ways. It's very versatile. I needed an adjustable platform to get my laptop off the desk surface. I occasionally use my laptop as a second monitor so it's nice to be able to pull it closer to my face at those times. Most other times, the lid is shut and just sitting on this like a floating adjustable shelf.There were many comments about not being able to close the laptop lid without the interference of the side restraints. The side clips are adjustable to make them wider and if your laptop is still too wide you don't have to install the side clips at all.As for mounting this arm to the wall; drywall anchors will NOT work on this. There are too many adjustments that put torque at the point of anchoring. You must anchor this to a stud or firm structural support.

My new treadmill would not fit my treadmill desk, so I decided to try this option. I'm glad I did! The old desk would cover up the buttons which made it difficult to change the speed and incline. This keeps the laptop up out of the way, but I can move it closer if something needs my attention. I will say that I wish I would've mounted it higher because you can always pull it down lower.

Like others I read the reviews before ordering. There weren't a lot of products for wall mount laptop arm stand. I ordered hoping the best. Received and the packaging and parts seemed solid. I read the warnings and instructions. My use case was to remove my laptop off my workbench to gain room back on my bench. I wanted to install this on the leg of the bench which is made of 2x4s. It installed without issue and is solid. The first issue I had is the hooks that hold the laptop in place. It doesn't allow for you to close the laptop lid. I just leave it open now. The big issue which was mentioned in other reviews is the wobble. When you go to type or use the touchpad it wobbles really bad. I almost unmounted to return in the first 5 minutes. It was very annoying and unusable using it that way. I dont need to use the laptop all the time and is only used to look things up and check a few things. If I used the laptop as a normal laptop this mount would not work. It has been a few days now and I figured out if I lean my elbow on my workbench while I type it stabilizes the wobble enough that it is somewhat usable. It did accomplish getting my laptop off my bench and it articulates well, but the wobble while using is very annoying. The arm is strong and I'm not afraid of it breaking but the joint design is lacking. Nothing is loose.

My mom is almost 100% in bed for to health issues. I remote her into her laptop to watch her favorite videos, zoom, etc. This pneumatic arm allows her to pull the laptop within view, then push it away when she is finished. Perhaps the manufacturers didn't have this scenario in mind when they designed this product, but this pneumatic arm keeps my mom happy daily. I live about 30 minutes from her assisted living, all she does it pick up the phone, tells me what she'd like to watch & presto.
