This battery is exactly what I needed. It fit perfectly in my Honda 1974 CL450...same as the CB450 series with high pipes. If you own a vintage motorcycle that requires this battery size you cant go wrong. The lugs on this battery have multiple position capability, top or side connection, and they are not the sorry flimsy kind you normally find on junk batteries. I have kept it on a standard trickle charger with no problems. It is worth the money. I got tired of dealing with acid and having to deal with a battery overflow tube that drips acid on the frame of my bike. This is a sealed battery, no acid vent tube. And no problems regardless of battery orientation.

After about 3 months I went out to start the little Honda it was in, and it was dead. I charged it with a .75 amp hour maintainer and it never reached more than 12.2 volts, and clearly will no longer make the amps to roll over that small engine. If you're not trying to save yourself money just do yourself a favor and buy an interstate AGM battery.

Works great so far on my 1972 Honda CL450, fits right in the battery cage without any modification. Seems to hold a charge well and run fine. No problems I can think of. Worth the price to get a nice AGM like this, don't cheap out on your battery.

This purchase was a replacement for an identical MotoBatt MB12U, which I installed in my BMW G650GS about three years ago. The old one quit taking a charge, not sure why but we live in an area of wide temperature changes. 100 F plus in Summer for consecutive weeks, and occasionally in the teens in Winter. So that's hard on any battery especially in a bike that's not ridden daily. I like the no maintenance design because it's a bit of a pain to access the battery in my bike. Only quibble: the terminals, while adjustable, can work loose from vibration, which is a given in a thumper. Recommend using (not included) star type lock washers (star inside) on terminals in both locations: attachment to battery and attachment to cables. There are two screws per terminal, total four.

i have used this brand in the past, battery lasted almost 4 seasons. bought 2, this year, lasted about a month each, dead and will not hold a charge. the one i bought years ago, had a date code sticker on it, the last 2 i got this year did not, so i dont know if its old stock or what. i have been in the auto field for over 25 years, and using quality testers on the batteries showing they are no good. very unhappy.
