Streamlined for a faster swim.
I wanted a swimsuit that was form fitting, but did not ride up my crotch. I had some rash guard shorts that I used under my wetsuits, but the material was very thin and revealing. So, I usually used my board swim shorts for swimming laps. The shorts on occasion would gather air and slow my swim down. This feels like the best of both worlds, there is an extra V panel of material on the front for modesty's sake.

After 6 months still good
It's the first time I have used Jammers for swimming and my timings improved a LOT. like 20 seconds per lap compared to using casual swimwear. Besides speed you feel how the drag caused by casual swimwear disappears.It's not transparent but color fades when stretching a lot (this is expected on a fabric like the one used in the product). After 6 months of use it has passed all my tests, you just have to be a little careful had wash and sun dry. No decoloration seen so far.The only downside of this category of products is that this makes you look funny when you are overweight like me...
