You're right, there is no expiration date anywhere on the jar or labels. Not a deal breaker though. Use it daily and it simply disappears. Great product.

Cetaphil is considered "shelf stable" and can last for years.

Not sure what you mean by new version. Cetaphil and CeraVe are two different brands. What I buy is a cream and does not have a pump.
