Lindt Excellence dark chocolate Full-bodied 78% (3 x 100g)

Sweeter than my usual 90% for an occasional change of pace. Excellent flavor and texture. Cost was about double what you would pay in a grocery store -- if you can find one that carries 78%. For your extra money you get not only a rare treat but shipping done right. Bars were in a foil-covered bubble wrap bag, inside a bubble plastic envelope, with a cold pack (which you can re-use). The people at World Wide Chocolate know how to pack for a cross-country trip in warm weather.

As items have been harder to come by during this virus lockdown, I have been forced to pay close to $4 a bar, especially for the higher % darks. Being that to me chocolate is a necessity, a food group essential, a vegetable ,after all--I have sampled & purchased every chocolate available just about. But I must say, over $7 a bar for chocolate is a bit much. Can you say price gouging? I purchased this 3-pk item just over a mth ago for $10.50 , which was bad enough.

The very best dark chocolate bar you can get. Always great.

Taste is good but tastes like bakers chocolate so not very sweet.Also, we found it at our local grocer store for less money.

The chocolate is indeed excellent; but buyer beware!!! 3 x 100 g = 3 candy bars for $19.00. That's $6.33 for just one bar! I didn't read the heading carefully and, thanks to a misinformed answer to one of the questions below, I mistakenly thought I was getting a box of 12 bars, not 3 individual bars. Lindt Excellence dark chocolate Full Bodied 78% candy bars normally sell for $3:00 each in grocery stores, pharmacies and big box stores (some of which will even send them to you). It was my mistake, I thought I was getting a deal; but that said, this price is pretty darn outrageous. You can do far better elsewhere!

Great for Keto Diet.

The 78% dark has a wonderful rich cocoa flavor - rather than the bourbon vanilla in other Lindt dark bars. It also has a little less fat. Which makes the bar taste more like Dutch cocoa and dark bittersweet chocolate. Less like fat and sugar. I like it much better than any of the other Lindt bars. It’s just a hint of bitter, quite nice, like arugula in a salad. To me, the 78% is the perfect chocolate bar if you love dark chocolate! I wish Amazon sold them directly rather than third part sellers - better prices & quicker shipping on items direct from Amazon.
