It’s a very good product and yes it does contain alcohol.

Q: Does this really smell like lavender? I am seeing conflicting reviews.

No it does not. I am a huge fan of lavender scents especially in its natural element and in many, many other forms burning, oils, lotions, tinctures etc. This just didn’t do it for me. I could’ve gotten a bad batch or something but I didn’t even bother to return or leave a review. However, I felt compelled to respond to this question. I never used the product.
