Love both units I purchased. The smaller the reservoir, the more diluted the pH needs to be and you need to use a circulation pump for optimal results.

Works fine in a hydro reservoir to prevent your nutrient solution’s ph from going out of range over time. Only works for adjusting up or down, not both. I use mine in a 25gal tank with straight PH Up. The output tubing is zip tied to a circulation pump. The pump is a foot or so away from the probe but pointed at it. This setup has worked great for a few months now. Just don’t forget to turn the unit off before you start doing a flush! I’d buy this again. Good value in my opinion. FYI, the display does not light up.

This doesn’t have a dose lockout. It can severely add to much. Easy set up but do not use for things that are extremely ph sensitive like plants

The controller works good. The pump works well too, but could be of better build quality. The tubbing connections seem like they may fail, or brake. You must run this with a cyclestat timer, or it will overdose your reservoir severely.

Thanks to Mark and Anthony for their reviews! I’m using a 5 gallon reservoir. Diluted ph down with 5 parts water to 1 part ph down. Seems to keep the ph from dropping too low when the dosing pump runs. It’s a new setup for me but was really easy to setup. I’ll follow up on this review in a week or two once I can fine tune everything.

I really like this controller. I am usually adjusting pH down on a daily basis due to air stone in the reservoir. This unit was an easy set-up and has been perfect at keeping my pH at 5.9. I think the price is great and so far, so good.
