Excellent tool to make jobs easy and safe! I’ve noticed plenty of people bending these spring compressors saying there weak but I’ve used them on several light vans and passenger vehicles with no problems!Make sure you grease them before use and make sure you take your time as compressing coil springs is highly dangerous! Also take note of how heavy the coil is before using this tool as it’s only rated for certain coils! Makes doing any spring work/strut work simple!

First time I had coils off ever. Heard all these horror stories of how dangerous it is. Read about other compressors feeling like they didn’t fit right. I used these on the coils of my Vivaro van. Fitted perfectly. And never had any worry that they would let go. Very good buy.

I have no idea how on earth people can make these things single use!They're cast, not forged, so using them just tears them apart! The threads and the adjusters on mine are already shot and I changed 2 springs!I'm returning these as they're not fit for purpose and wishazon won't ever do anything about it!

I finally plucked up the courage to change the top strut mount on my Freelander TD4 using these. I was nervous after hearing horror stories so took all precautions. A good tip is to grease them well and cut the tips of some rubber gloves off and put them on the end of each. Worked and treat and held the spring well with no worries. I had a ratchet attached to the end of each and wound them at the same time so the pressure was never too much on one side. I feel more confident using them in the future now.
