This harness appears to have quality material & hardware. Metal & plastic buckles with slides for adjusting & no-sliping, & keepers so the ends are tucked neatly away. Wide nylon & padding to provide comfort. Metal triangles for leash attach hold well & grab-handle is sturdy. I always try to purchase bright ORANGE for high visibility, but got this one as a "used in new condition" for a better price! It DID arrive with a section that was assembled backwards & upside-down, BUT that was an easy fix. The rigging on a whole I tested by putting the pup on a zipline & he was happy to be outdoors just being a dog!!

My dog is a lean medium-sized 40lbs dog. He is high energy and with every person/dog/leaf he sees or smells he is pulling me around like his life depends on it. I seriously could not take my dog out for walks in fear that he would make me fall or that I would lose him because I couldn't hold on to the leash. I also hated how much he was choking himself to get to that thing that caught his attention. With this front clip harness, a miracle has occurred. Our walks have completely changed. Now I can walk my dog around with more confidence. My dog still tries to pull every so often but there is hardly any power behind it. The front clip redirects his momentum back towards me which puts me more in control. He is also learning that pulling is now getting him nowhere. The harness also has a handle on the back in those moments when I need complete control.Another thing that surprised me is how comfortable my dog feels with it on. Usually, my dog tries to chew/bite/take off whatever we put on him. I have never seen him try to do any of that with this harness. He has even fallen asleep with it on. It's like he is not aware that it's on his body or at least he doesn't care. Either way, I am so happy it doesn't bother him.The harness is strong and made of great-quality material. That was one of the main reasons why I went with this product instead of a cheaper alternative because of how aggressively my dog could pull. I didn't want something he could easily get out of or chew through. I wanted it to be secure and wouldn't loosen up after every walk. And I got exactly that. This harness is a bit tough to adjust the straps but that is the point especially if you do not want to be consistently adjusting it after every pull/lunge. When I first got it I had to take it on and off my dog to get it to fit perfectly but since then I have not needed to make any adjustments.Just make sure you measure your dog before ordering and have some patience while adjusting the straps because IT'S ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!

Now, let me tell ya, this gal runs hotter than a frog in a cast iron skillet on a summer day! So, I needed something that could handle her strength, allow room for growth, be comfortable, and of course, make her look fabulous.After some considerable research, I finally found this harness. It's built like a steel magnolia and adjustable for Skye's growth. And with just enough padding to keep her cool as a cucumber. Not too much to make her overheat, but enough to keep her comfortable on long walks.And let me tell ya, this harness makes Skye look finer than a frog's hair. She's the belle of the dog park, struttin' her stuff like she's the queen of the coop. So if y'all see us out and about, be sure to give my girl a holler and a howdy-do - she's one tough cookie, but she's also as sweet as pecan pie.Update: 3/7/25: Damn fine product.

Guys, don't be like me. Carefully look at and select the right version. One has plastic top clips, the other has all metal clips. Trust me, the $5 extra is worth it. If you have a chewer, and they somehow get their grubby mouth on it, the plastic clips WILL be EASILY destroyed. At least the rest of the harness holds up pretty well to some light chewing. Now I've ordered the one with all metal clips. This will be Vinny's 4th harness. My wallet is crying. Let us hope and pray that this will be our holy grail/his last and final one. -sigh- he's so cute despite being such a gremlin.

Love the harness and it fits my husky perfectly! We both now enjoy our walks and he hasn't pulled after getting this. I'm getting another for my shepherd!

Product is great. Large size fits my husky mix, roughly 85 lbs, really well, but be warned it does have a bit of weight to it! For a smaller dog that's a lighter frame, I wouldn't recommend it, but for a medium to large dog it's great. The adjusting points, other than the buckles on the back (they seem to be more of a durable plastic, they don't feel cheap or flimsy!), are all metal and the padding seems very well done. My husky definitely prefers it to the cheaper and more flimsy/uncomfortable ones at most pet stores. It has a bit of weight to it, the metal makes it look more luxurious, and so far it has done great! Will update the review as I get more time to use it on hikes and other activities with my good boy :)

I've bought and tried just about every harness at pets mart, Petco, and pet supplies plus. Spent so much money or should I say wasted. Then I started buying ones I saw on Amazon. The third one I picked was icefang. I bought the 3/4 body tactical harness because it looked very well made had a bunch of adjustments in multiple areas they are needed. My German shepherd loved it. Every time I went to put it on him he would sit there perfectly calm and still bc he wanted it on. It was his and he wanted it back it seemed like he was saying lol. For all the time use I figured I liked this harness so much ide try the elite strap type one. He loves this one to and so do I. It's very well made can adjust to any dog size and shape(which is why I bought it) and is very durable and comfortable for my gsd. You can use the no pull clip or there's two others on it as well for doing different things. Try this harness you won't regret it.
