The media could not be loaded. The demascus steel is most definitely REAL DAMASCUS STEEL !!! Moreover it is very very finely done. To confirm this is true; just look at the spine of the blade, the thick edge away from the sharp side and notice all the layers.Beautiful, full of colors abalone shell on both sides of the handle. This knife is a work of art. Really, it is NICE!Very proud to own and carry it. It is one of the finest knives in my vast collection.Can't believe it's this high quality at this low of a price. It is better in person than any photo I've seen to date.Highly recommend anyone that appreciates fine knives that they would be most satisfied with this knife. And man is it freakin' sharp.One hand opening is smooth, solid and crisp. It has no play when fully open.Acquire one, you won't regret it at all.

I wanted a pretty knife that I could wear and look good. All my other knifes are work knifes and those really don’t go well when you’re trying to look cute. Easy open and comes with a beautiful sheath that attaches to your jeans or belt. It is very sharp and a great quality.

This is a very pleasant knife, with some practice a full side opening switchblade. It served me perfectly well as an inexpensive Christmas gift to a woman, who even vocally complemented the elaborateness of the holster, the .. mother of pearl" lined handle and the ..damask" patterned blade.On the negative side, the ,,mother of pearl" pattern has proved to be on a closer examination discontinuous, a jarring accent in the otherwise perfect aesthetics of the knife, plus the handle yielding too much inwards under hand pressure, what I imagine could lead to ruining the handle by repeating Ly strongly squeezing it.Summarily, still a good gift to a moderately strong woman for sharpening pencils, or even, in necessity, shortening the life span of some lowlife.

This is the second knife I've purchased in this style and they've both been fantastic. They're beautiful and razor sharp with a smooth action. They seem very well made. They make excellent gifts and always get a "wow!" whenever anyone sees them.

The case and print of the knife are even more beautiful in person. Makes a great gift, or self defense for yourself. For the price it’s very well structured and pretty sharp, have no problems with it :)
