Amazingly complex and satisfying transformation process
Excellent toy. Both robot and truck modes look extremely convincing and is true to the movie. The robot's backside (it's "backpack", which consists of the doors and top of the truck) is perhaps a bit disappointing to look at, but then again those parts have to go somewhere in robot mode...The transformation process is unexpectedly interesting, with the waste swiveling 180 degrees and feet ending up in the front of the truck mode.Instructions could be better but several excellent guides are available on youtube.To my mind this is the best Optimus Prime out there unless you are willing to fork out about four times as much $$ for the much, much more complicated Movie Masterpiece MPM-04 model.

This is by far the best transformer figure I have ever had
This is by far the best transformer figure I have ever had, this is the one I have dream of since childhood. I bought it for my son, and he loves it.

Good toy at retail price
Great figure for play and display. It would be perfect if the top roof section of the truck connected better to the truck cab in vehicle mode on my copy. Somehow, the tabs don't align just right so there is a noticeable gap. I managed to improve this a bit by using floor polish to make this connection a bit tighter but it's still not perfect and I wish it was that way out of the box. Still a good figure. I wish the price was not marked up as high as it is on Amazon. At retail price, it's fine; I wouldn't pay more for this figure though given the size, plastic quality, and connection issue I mentioned above.

Awesome figurine. A great addition to my collection. The only wish is that Prime's Knight sword was silver and not ORANGE.

This toy is good. But the print quality of operation manual is too bad. Low resolution image and too small font size.
