JAPANESE: Hiragana & Katakana - Alphabet Tracing - Japanese (日本語 - にほんご) Practice for Toddlers, Kids and Adults Beginners - Homeschool Preschool Letters/Characters Handwriting Activities for Ages 3 +

Absolutely useless.
The book is about A4 in size, with ONE character per page for you to drag your finger across, which would be fine for small children if dragging their hand around an A4 sized sheet of paper was at all helpful for learning to write, but even then, the kana are wrong in ways that are subtle enough that you might not spot them at first, but since the goal is to teach you to hand-write these characters, your kana are going to be atrocious if you use this book to learn them. Some strokes which should be curved are ramrod-straight. Others are placed disproportionately close to or far from strokes. Some of the strokes are far too long or too short. This whole thing has been assembled by someone with zero familiarity with the kana or how to correctly write them, AND it will teach you terrible habits if you learn from it.Furthermore there just aren't enough practice worksheets with kana at more reasonable sizes. The smallest kana are 2 inches high, and you get to trace each one four times. That's it. There's no space for drill practice.Absolutely not worth your time or money. Stick with Tuttle.

Awful Product
I have been learning Japanese for the last two years. I decided to start teaching my children. On a whim I bought two copies of this book as I thought it might be a good starting point for them.Well, I was wrong. Very wrong. The amount of practice you can get from this book would basically last about 15 minutes total. One hiragana/katakana per page for most of the book and then you get a chance to repeat your learning about 6 times per character. Not to mention the order the Kana are in is a little strange and not the best way to learn them. I think it took the authors the same amount of time to put this together as it did my kids to finish it. Low effort and low quality.Awful product.

Nur für Kleinkinder
Ich hatte gehofft, das Buch sei etwas aufwendiger gestaltet, so ist es tatsächlich nur für Kleinkinder geeignet, auf keinen Fall für heranwachsende Jugendliche oder erwachsene Beginner für Japanisch.
