This is THE glue for headliners!!
I've used 3-M Headliner and Fabric Adhesive for a bunch of years and it never fails. Sure you can find cheaper products but after using them and having jobs come back due to the glue failing prematurely, it pays to step up and get the good stuff!! Besides the price is right with Amazon when you buy in cases of 4 or 6. Just be sure to follow the directions and you will not be disappointed. Great product!

Stronger than nails
This is my third time buying. This is great for use on foam backed headliner fabric. There is no max temperature posted for this but I will say the very first headliner I did I screwed up and tried to remove the fabric after using this stuff to glue It down. Even with a heat gun on full blast It took me over a hour to get the fabric off... that’s how you know this stuff can withstand heat without failing.

Works great
Product worked great. Sprays even and one can goes a long way. Used 2 cans to replace the headliner on my Jeep Cherokee.

Good product but poorly designed spray nozzle
This is the classic headliner/upholstery adhesive that I've been using for over 30 years albeit relabeled. The only drawback is the "user friendly" spray tip. It not only clogs easily, but the head falls off during shipment and is very difficult to realign properly so that the glue will actually come out. Works like magic on NEW material but there is absolutely NOTHING that will properly adhere old car headliners once they separate. I've been upholstering since the late 80's and all you will do is laminate the old deteriorated backer foam to the headliner board and make it much more difficult for someone to fix properly. It will either not stick at all, look like snot smeared on the cloth or end up looking like cottage cheese thighs. If you have new material, by all means, go for it, clean all the old junk off your backer board, spray this on and you'll not be sorry. If all you're wanting to do is "jerry rig" your old cloth back in place on the cheap, just use thumb tacks or staples and you'll save someone a lot of frustration later on if they want to pony up a few extra bucks to fix it right.
