Sturdy except for the white hook thing.
My ostomy nurse prescribed the BARD brand like the hospital gets. Nope. Two started to leak within days and I still had 27 days before I could order more!So, although I do NOT have the money for this, I went searching for a replacement.These are great. I love having five. They are easier to empty than the other brand. The little end spout is easier to put away, too: you slip it into a little pocket.They are diamond-shaped and slimmer than the BARD ones, so I get nervous about them, but they haven't leaked yet.I haven't used the long hose. Nice option tonhave, though.The first time I trued to move the white hook, it snapped off. It is more brittle than the other brand.

Really Long Tube
I've tried cutting the tube down, but it doesn't work very well, even if you buy the connectors separately. Maybe because the connectors stink. This does drain in the middle. The valve clip is hard to use at first, but not as much as the J&J ones. Sometimes, the hanger breaks.

Diamond shaped and it's NOT durable...especially the hook
I ordered these Sep 7th 2024... I'm already on my 5th bag and it's only Feb 7th!They are diamond shaped making it hard to drain all the pee. The hook falls off the bag itself easily and is very flimsy. One of the bags leaked pee around it's seam and I'm in a wheelchair and didn't realize until my dog (who was sleeping beside my chair) woke up and was COMPLETELY soaked with my pee all over her side.The clip to release the pee is easier and most other bags, but not worth the flimsiness of the overall bag and hook.

Pay attention to gravity
The instructions let you know that it's important that the tubing be on a downward slope without any portion heading upward. The tubing is very thick and very heavy and not nearly so capable of moving the urine on past a small rise.The 18-in extensions are not helpful. They also are very heavy, and the end near the patient is not tapered. All that the extension does is creates another potential point of failure, more weight, and a connection where it might start leaking.
