The Facet has been in CRKT's lineup for many years. I wish I'd purchased this years ago. It's now one of my favorites. Historically, the Facet was CRKT's response to the Benchmade Osborne 940. I think it stands up to the Osborne in terms of style and functionality, at a fraction of the price. And, it's an assisted opener, which is CRKT's specialty.Stylish, functional, tough. Get it.

This is a well made, weighted, balanced knife. It seems more like a gentleman's knife, but I love it for how it feels in my palm. The blade flips smoothly, the gimping on the flipper is ok, but could use more smoothing over. The liner lock feels solid when open, no giggling of blade. 2 thumbs up for me, but that's just me, buy it, try it and see how you like the feel of a weighted , balanced knife in your palm, you won't regret it.

I love the style of this knife. The blade gives of the vibe of a Benchmade Osborne so it serves a lot of utilitarian tasks but keeps a classy look with full metal body and sleek style. Been carrying it a lot because of how it disappears in the pocket. Feels like top notch quality when opening as well.

I love this knife! the blade is sturdy and holds an edge very well. the all metal body is built for literal years of use and looks good and sleek while living out those years. The open assist mechanism is a dream and opens the knife with a confident flip. The open lock is extremely sturdy and simple to close. all of this should lead to a most glowing 5 star review and it would! except for the fact that the clip which is a very important part of the knife is flimsy. the clip was made far too thin near the crown and will bend becoming sprung open. I had this happen several times and had to remove the clip and bend it back into shape 3 times. on the 4th it broke. I sent a request for a replacement clip to CRKT and apparently replacement clips are not available for this knife. this is my EDC and now it sits in the bottom of a pocket instead of clipped to the top, where you want to have your knife. I can't find a replacement generic clip since most on amazon have the screw holes 4.5mm apart and this knife seems to be about 6mm apart. so 10/10 for the knife and case. 1/10 on the clip.UPDATE!They repaired the knife, sharpened the blade, cleaned it up as if it was new and shipped it back to me. free of charge. this and another knife I had that had from them that had stopped auto opening. all for free. in about 2 weeks. The design of the clip on the knife is still a rare miss for them but WOW. this is how you make a life long customer. upgraded the rating to 4 stars. when they re-launch this knife with an updated clip design I will buy it and give it 5 stars!

Well made knife despite it being made in China. The spring that flips the blade is strong and works wonderfully.

The CRKT Onion design has quickly become one of my every day carry knives. Everything about this knife exudes quality! Proof is when you get it in your hands and see the difference for yourself. IMHO you will not be disappointed whether purchasing for yourself or as a gift!
