Love them
I really like these guide pro shirts. Infact I ended up buying a pair of their guide pro pants. Let me start with:For reference I am 5'5", 150lbs a athletic build/frame, typically wear a 6 in pants/bottoms and M/ 36D in tops.I originally bought these in an 8 according to reviews and size chart but needed to return for a 6. The 6 for perfectly. These have ample stretch to them without losing their shape. They are not hot nor scratchy feeling. I wore them up in the mountains in 90+ degree weather and was fine. They really seem to wick away moisture. I recommend sticking to your typical size in pants/bottoms. I also did not find these to be of a curvy nature. So if you are pear shape expect them to be bigger in the waist and snug in the seat. These seem to be made more for athletic frame or the straight up and down (apple?, Pineapple?.. What ever fruit that shape is). Hope this helps ladies.

These Shorts are the BEST!
I ordered multiple types of outdoor shorts and I finally settled on these! I am 5'4" with a 27" waist and 36.5" hip. I ordered the size 6 Petite and they are perfect! What I love most about these shorts is the stretch! I can squat, kneel, and be active without feeling constricted. Additionally, I love the shape of the shorts...they fit my hips while not being too short or too long.

Same size in different colors will have vastly different fit
I bought a navy pair and it was the most incredible pair of shorts I’ve ever had. One week later I ordered a green pair IN THE SAME SIZE and it didn’t fit. It felt two sizes too small. I expect more from Eddie Bauer especially for these expensive high tech shorts. Now I don’t know if the first or second pair was tagged incorrectly. I have no clue what size to order. For the record I’m usually a size 12-14. Since I’m curvy and these are a straight cut and I wanted a looser fit I ordered the first (Navy) pair in a size 16. Fit was excellent. Second green pair was also ordered in a 16 and it fit like a 10. Are they made in two different factories? I did not gain any weight lol. Was he first pair really a 16 and the second really a 10. Or was he first pair really an 18 and the second really a 16. Like I have. I idea what to order because all these sizes are larger than I usually take. Clearly the straight cut of these shirts requires a size up if you’re have curves. But I have no idea how many sizesup and the same size in navy will not fit like the green. I’ve contacted the company to help me get the correct size for second pair and they haven’t bothered to reply.

Great for hiking
I am 5’8 and 210lbs. I bought a size 16 and found these quite comfortable. They are flexible and allowed for movement. I am large and when I get hot every piece of clothing starts to stick to me. These shorts are not constantly riding up and the waist is comfortable. They actually dry fast as well.

Too small, not 7" inseam, odd pocket buldge
I live in hiking shorts in the summer, but my favorite style was discontinued by Columbia. I thought I'd branch out and try this brand. I'm a size 10/12 in just about all brands of pants/shorts, but I know sometimes outdoor brands can run small so I ordered a 14 for a looser fit. These were much too small, they also were not a size 7" inseam, and the waist had an odd bulge in the hip area when zipping. Unfortunately I had to return and continue my search for a new brand of hiking shorts. On a positive note, the material felt like good quality and they may fit better on someone with a different body shape.
