Used nails to fix to outside door trim. Excellent fit and strong attachment. It was not going to come down. Use it on door that gets cold air in the winter and a lot of sun/heat in the summer. (Door is directly across from the thermostat! Yikes! I had to do something to the thermostat from heating/cooling every time the door was opened!) Perfect for blocking both! Love the thickness of the material and the magnetic closure works very well. Protection with ease-of-use! Only thing I'd change is to get one with the little window but not having it is fine.(Had used others without this kind of success. Checks all the boxes.)

I love my Velcro covers. They were easy to install, great durability, pet friendly and good value for the money. The closure ability has poor design. We have to take the cover off the door to open the door. I think these were designed for doors that open out. Our doors open in.I will rate it higher though because we live in MT and it cut my heat bill. It kept the cold out and my house was warm all winter. I’m going to use them this summer during fire season to keep the smoke out.

We had one of these up at our door wall all winter, this is the first time we have bought anything for our door wall. Our dining room is very cold all winter long and so is one of our bedrooms off the dining room. This past winter I decided to try something different but easy to be able to get out the door if need be. This product made a huge difference, I would say about 5 degree difference in our dining room. We like it so much we bought 2 more for our door in our mud room and decided to use the garage door all winter. They worked great.

It’s incredible! I’m using it to keep the AC air inside, and it works amazingly well. Definitely a great choice.

This product is nice quality and when hung you can feel a noticeable temperature improvement for drafty doors. However, I needed this for an exterior door that opens inward and it does not work for this application. The blanket is stiff so it gets caught on the top of the door when you try to open it and the Velcro ripped right off. It’s too bad because this seemed to be a solution to our draft issue but I’ll have to return. Would work great for areas that open out or for a sliding door.

I put this curtain on the second door leading to my room to keep warm in the mountains. That door opens outwards so I could put the curtain on the inside of my room. I noticed a considerable decrease in how often my heater has to turn on to keep my room warm. The curtain has a bunch of strong magnets that make a satisfying sound upon closing, sealing off my room when I pass through. I don't even need to close the door anymore with the curtain up. The velcro straps and pins work really well together to fully seal the curtain to the doorway. It feels durable and for the money I wish I could put it on both doors, but my other door opens inwards. From outside my room, it looks like I'm sleeping at all times since all light is blocked and most sounds are muffled. Definitely recommend.

I have an unused upstairs and all of my heat was escaping from the first floor. For years, we have hung blankets on a shower rod and had it continually fall down, just trying to keep the hit downstairs and save propane costs. There is no doorway at the bottom of the stairs, which was the main problem. This year, I installed this by myself in about five minutes. It was SO easy and has done the job wonderfully, to the point where when I go upstairs, the second I walk through the curtain, I get immediately chilly. It hasn't fallen once and I'm actually planning on purchasing another for the playroom doorframe.

We put this on the outside of our patio door to keep the wind from blowing our dog door open and it really helps.
