Performance Tool W32128 1/2-Inch Drive Speeder Handle

This is not the sort of tool you're going to find at your local Home Depot. My father had one of these when I was young, and I had a need for one, to speed the process of removing a large number of lag screws. This is faster and easier than a ratchet, and less expensive than an impact wrench. This one works great, though a power tip here (literally) is to finish the tightening or start the loosening with a ratchet (more torque), then use this to move the screw or bolt literally.

Bought this to use in my trailer tool bag; combined with a 19mm hex socket and viola. No need to bring more power tools to do what simple hand cranking can accomplish.

PT usually delivers pretty decent items at a good price and this slider does both. Taiwan, pretty decent steel, but not as strong (and a tad shorter) than more expensive US sliders. Works great for most uses where you don't want/need a longer 1/2 breaker bar. I got this mostly for spinning a couple pipe dies for thread repair but these also make great emergency lug nut wrenches for passenger/smaller wheels.The detent is ok...not great but most of these have wimpy springs anymore. It works well enough if you're paying attention. Chrome looks decent but in my experience most of the low cost chromed items will tend to rust much easier over time whether they're damaged or not. Good purchase, good price.

Good quality for the cost

I needed to replace an extremely old craftsman driver that the driver failed inside the handle, and it would slip if using a ratchet wrench. I replaced it with this and also added one to my "on the go" boat tool bag. Its comfortable to hold, does not slip at all in your hand and works great on a 1/4" ratchet.

The professional quality of this spinner handle (the name of which took me days to figure out after I lost the one from my ratchet set) is extremely high. The packaging, which is so tight that I had to use two pairs of pliers to release, was, however, crazy. It is clearly designed as a stand alone selection gallery, but has to be destroyed in order to use the product. Two of the three little plastic inserts were shattered by the time I freed them. While this has zero impact on the usability of the spinner, you better provide for some method to keep the add-ons from being lost in your tool drawer.

I really like the speed drive, a very good alternative to electric or pheumatic rachet.
