My French Press just cracked this morning. Why? Because my gf knocked it against the garbage can trying to empty out the grinds. I purchased this little gem in 2020,and it's been absolutely great! Needless to say,I just ordered another one today. It's comes with an extra screen,but it's so easy to take apart and clean that you won't need it for awhile (if you clean it well after each use). So now I await my new press that will be here on 1/29/25. My old press shall be missed, but not forgotten! She survived hundreds of cups of coffee, constant hot water from my electric kettle and even COVID. But she couldn't survive my girlfriend.Hm...maybe that's a sign.

Fast way to make coffee. This French press is high quality! She lasted me a year and a half even with my husband being rough with her whenever it was his turn to wash dishes. She finally broke on me today. Her time of service will never be forgotten. In all seriousness, I absolutely recommend this French press. I’m going to order another as soon as I can. It’s instant coffee for me for now. 🥲🪦💐

I have had this for about 3 years now. I was using it this morning thinking what a good french press it has been. I use it almost every day along with the frother. If I want iced coffee I just make it the night before and put it in the fridge. I would definitely recommend.

Love this fresh press coffee maker, especially for coffee chats w/ friends.Makes about 2 cups but exudes all the coffee zest and fragrance in thiseasy store-able pot. Just pour in boiling water and watch the magic. Simple.

I quit smoking 7 months ago, and coincidentally gave up coffee for the hot months of the Florida summer and fall. Like every year, as the first hints of chilly weather snuck in, I got excited to go back to a nice cup of strong coffee. Imagine my shock to find my post smoker rejuvenated taste buds revulsion to my typical pre-ground Espresso beans in a automatic drip coffee maker. After declaring the entire pot a disaster and dumping it down the drain, I began my internet research and subsequent shopping spree.After deciding French Press was the way to go for me, I scoured Amazon, reviewed customer feedback and finally found Bean Envy's 34oz French Press Coffee Maker with Milk Frother. From the moment I placed the order, the customer experience has been a delight: personalized emails asking for feedback and making suggestions, a delightful Vanilla Cappuccino recipe (which I loved and have even taken to adding a cinnamon stick in while I heat the milk with the vanilla extract) and follow up galore. The products arrived when promised and the packaging was professional, but easy to access and ensured that everything arrived in perfect working order. I spent the next week experimenting with various coffee beans, coffee grinds, coffee to water ratios and brew time. I am thrilled with the daily rituals of a French Press brew, and am getting close to the perfect cup of coffee. Even my current "failures" taste delicious.The Milk Frother, while challenging to get the batteries in just right, once done has been beyond divine! I've owned a cappuccino maker in the past, and though I loved frothed milk, mastering the steam system could be challenging. But worse was the cleanup. With this handy battery operated Milk Frother, give me 30 seconds, and I'll give you a perfect cup of frothed milk, begging to have coffee poured in, with the frother already clean and back in its convenient stand! However did I survive without one up til now???As for the French Press itself, I love the coffee it helps me make. I was nervous about a glass container with a metal press. I use a wooden spoon to stir the grounds during the "bloom" period, as well as to pull the spent grounds from the bottom during cleanup. I almost went with the stainless steel insulated version until I read you want to pour the coffee as soon as the pressing is done, so you don't over brew.The only disappointment I have, is that if I try to brew a full 32oz batch, there is not enough room, even with the extra 2oz capacity, so grinds spill over and the "pressing" stage is a complete mess. Worse, with a full pot, when I go to pour into my carafe, the spout always drips, leaving a puddle of my hard worked for coffee on the counter. If, however, I do a 3/4 pot (750ml/24oz) or less, everything is perfect. This is my first French Press, so I'm not sure if the "full pot" syndrome is common or poor design. As for cleanup, with the black plastic "holder", the bottom section stays wet, keeping moisture between the plastic and the glass. Beyond that, the black plastic structure keeps the glass safe, the heat away from bare skin, and sits solid on the counter.While I am still trying to master the French Press process, I have been thrilled with the personalized customer experience provided by Bean Envy! So many things to love about this french press. Super easy to use, and brews a fantastic cup of coffee. I have so many positive things to say about this item that I'm afraid that it will come across as a fake review (it's not) or like I'm an employee of the company (I'm not).Pros:1. Very durable/well constructed. Glass is thick, handle is molded as part of the plastic holding the carafe so you don't have to worry about it separating. plastic is thick enough that it should last years without cracking.2. Filter/Plunger does an excellent job of keeping grounds out of your coffee.3. Easy to follow instructions for use for those unfamiliar with using a french press.4. Easy clean up (carafe is even dishwasher safe).5. Excellent value for the money. There are others that are cheaper, but not when the bonus frother is taken into account and at least by reviews none that match the quality.6. Seller proactively contacted after order before delivery to make sure I had a point of contact for any issues.Cons:1. Brews such a great cup of coffee that my daily cup from my Keurig pales in comparison.Comments:1. Make sure you use coffee that is ground coarsely enough for a french press. The pre-ground coffee in stores is going to be too finely ground leading to some grounds in the coffee. For best results get whole beans and a grinder.If you are looking for a french press I recommend this one enthusiastically. If you're a coffee drinker and have never had french press coffee try this one. If you have a coffee drinker in your life this is a great present.Update 9/21/2017After at least 200 pots of coffee in this, I finally had a problem. A small crack developed in the carafe and part of the lid that holds the plunger straight snapped off. The press was still usable and I was ready to just buy another one figuring at 200 pots of coffee that's a pretty good run for the money. However, I decided to reach out to Bean Envy to see if they really would stand by their lifetime warranty/100% satisfaction guarantee. Within an hour of sending an e-mail on a Sunday morning I had a fantastic customer service rep named Ben, get back to me, apologize profusely for the inconvenience, and ask for my mailing address so they could send a replacement. Wed afternoon, the new unit arrived. No push back, no arguments just an immediate, "we stand behind our products". Hats off to Ben and to Bean Envy. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. This is truly a risk free purchase.
