This is absolutely PERFECT for my needs
I got this as an EDC torch / kubutan. Laws are different around the world. I'm in Scotland. I'm subject to the laws of Scotland and the UK. We are very restrictive. You can't carry something that's explicitly a weapon, but you can carry something that doubles up as a weapon. It needs to have another primary function. In this case, it's a SUPER bright torch. The build quality is EXCELLENT. It's SOLID.I'm 100% setting up an affiliate link for this product. I should have gotten one YEARS ago.

A really good torch.
I bought this torch to replace a lost one?. It's very lightweight but strong. On inserting the battery, I was very disappointed that when switching through the brightness switch, the most powerful setting would not come on, my fault though as it was a duff battery. After replacing the battery with another, it was extremally bright, so now happy, and all the settings work fine. Duff battery sent back for replacement. Now very happy with my torch, although the belt holster for the torch is a bit naff, I will replace it with a better one later.

Bright
Belt strap is very weak, batteries not supplied, gets very hot when used long. Sturdy torch and very bright. Different brightness available

Amazingly powerful for its size
Small flashlight but very very bright (I only use it on medium setting most of the time). I am using CR123A batteries but there are other options. Price is brilliant, build quality is great and it was delivered next day. Highly recommended.

Good features, but premium price.
The media could not be loaded. The first thing to note is that this tactical torch, isn't cheap, priced at £50.38 at the time of ordering with no discounts offered. For this price, it needs to be good, so how did it fair? The good- The throw is good with a nice consistent spread of light.- The construction feels excellent, materials used are good quality.- It's light, yet has a good reassuring weight.- The tactile textured grip does a great job of providing grip even when wet.- The various light options should suit most applications, with 5 intensity levels and one very effective strobe.- The memory function is great, it always starts on the last used setting.- The extra pouch is much better than the one in the box, and it holds the torch securely. The bad- It's expensive!- The throw distance isn't huge and peters off towards the end of the reach.- There is no lens magnifier, it's a fixed beam, which does affect long range ability.- The pouch is a little hard to get the torch in, but removing is swift.Overall I'd say that this is a solid performer, suitable as self defense (strobe and sharp edges in the torch end), or security work etc, but it does have its limitations and the lack of a beam.focus may be a deal breaker for some.
