Decent quality foot pump included!
This product is nicely designed. It has a stylish deer graphic logo on it, which adds to its cachet. Right out of the box, you are greeted with a very effective easy-to-use foot-pump, that absolutely minimizes the hassle of inflation that typical hand pumps would offer – this unit with the included foot pump was the easiest time I ever had inflating a Swiss Ball. I believe this product is designed to the minimum thickness standards to give it a “heavy duty” or “puncture-resistant” designation, but I will stress that these units will all likely fail if used in the presence of even a small chip of glass left on the floor from a broken wine glass or light bulb! I think a manufacturer would have to go up to a material like Kevlar for one of these Swiss Balls to be relatively puncture-proof, and I doubt they have created a Kevlar that can expand like this rubber can, nor would it be cost-efficient. So a word of warning – if you or your housemates are prone to breaking the occasional glass item and fail to completely vacuum or sweep up every little shard of glass, be prepared to order a new one of these, for this is what will bring you back down to Earth in an instant if you happen to place your new Swiss Ball on top of any small particle of glass and apply downward pressure (I bought this unit for a buddy who did just that – popped his previous Swiss Ball – and I found a few shards of glass around his work area afterwards, where he uses the Swiss Ball as a chair!). Also, I was unaware of this, but if you do manage to burst this product through the above-mentioned housekeeping negligence, especially if you are in the middle of doing flys or presses with dumbbells etc., there is a real possibility of doing injury to yourself if you experience a sudden bursting. And, again, I stress, this (bursting) is likely only to occur if any sharp item such as a small piece of broken glass, a stray sharp-pointed screw, etc., is left lurking on the floor proximal to your area of use. Otherwise, if you keep this unit stored out of direct sunlight and away from anything that could puncture it, it should last you many years.

Great for pregnancy and labor.
I got this to help with the pressure of pregnancy (as advised by both my physical therapist and OB) and add flexible labor positioning options (per my doula). I had a well-known, more expensive brand 2 pregnancies ago, and this one matches the quality. If you stick your face right on it, you can smell a slight manufacturing scent, but i distinctly remember that with my previous expensive one, as well, so I'm pretty sure its just how the material and manufacuring process is with these things. You can't smell it (even with sensitive pregnancy nose--thanks, HG!) when just sitting on it. Also, after having it around for a few weeks, the scent is fading.Definitely blow it up, let it sit for a few days, use it some, and blow it up a bit more. Yoga ball material stretches some at first, and you don't want a slouchy ball. It holds air perfect, though...this is just a normal breaking-in period "issue" that all yoga balls have.Pumping it up takes a little while. My previous ball's pump worked better, pumping the expensive brand ball in a matter of 2 minutes or less. This pump functions the same way as that pump (pumps air OUT regardless of whether you're compressing or extending the pump), but it's just not as efficient. I was still able to pump it up in less than 5 mins, though. So, if youre looking to bring your own ball to the hospital, you can certainly deflate it and re-pump it (or, rather, have your partner or doula do that for you!) when you get to your room.Since it works well for pregnancy sitting, it'd also be great for flexible office or school sitting. It's also the right material to be stable and not slippery for actual yoga.

Great customer service!
This ball was exactly what I was looking for to use as an office chair, however it only lasted three months before it deflated for good. I knew it wouldn't last forever, but I was hoping to at least get a year of use out of it before having to buy another one. However, the company contacted me and sent me a new one stating that they had a 12 month guarantee. The customer service was great, and I would happily buy from them again.

Great quality
It's just what I wanted. Be sure to follow the directions to get started, especially the first step to inflate, let the ball rest the specified amount of time, and deflate. Then it will inflate to its full size. The ball is well made and holds the air. I love it. By adding the base it makes a great desk chair. I did get the solid base, not the one in several pieces that needs to be put together. And I am happy with it.

Good ball, decent price, picking the right size is a little difficult
First, love the purple color. It’s like a muted grape hue. Packaging was good. Comes with pump, instructions, 3 plugs, plug remover, measuring tape (see photos). The deflated ball looks really small when you first take it out of the packaging. Don’t worry, it’ll inflate to size. A lot of people’s reviews says the ball doesn’t get to size. When I first started pumping up the ball, I got it to inflate to the lower end of the size range (55 inches) pretty easily. Took about 10 min of constant pumping with the included pump. I waited a few minutes and then added about 20 more pumps of air, waited a few minutes again, added more air. Eventually, it got to the high end of the size range (65 inches) without too much extra effort. The whole set up took maybe 20 minutes. The instructions say to wait a day after you initially inflate the ball if it’s not getting to size, then add more air to allow the PVC material to stretch, but I didn’t have this issue. The only thing slightly negative I’ll say is that if you are looking for a specific sized ball and want it to be on the softer side (more give when you sit on it), size up. I inflated my ball to 65 inches (max for the L size) and it’s pretty hard, not a lot of give when I sit on it (then again, I’m on the smaller size). The overall size of the ball is good and what I expected, but I think I would’ve preferred an XL ball that’s not as inflated. For reference I’m 5’3” and 115lbs and I bought this ball for gentle exercise/stretching and for early labor. The current height of the ball fully inflated would also make it perfect as a desk chair as well and the firmness would be ideal for sitting for longer periods. My feet touch the ground fine and it’s easy to balance on it. If it were any squishier, I don’t think it would be an ideal desk chair as I’d sink into it too much. Overall, it’s a quality ball, just make sure you’re ordering the right size. I’d recommend getting the size where your expected size falls in the lower-middle inflated size range.
