Lightly sweet, delicious. It is very dry so gives the mouth a workout for sure. Be super carful if you use a retainer or dentures as this might be hard enough to crack or break your expensive inserts. Aside that this it is delicious and both my husband and I enjoy these. There are 15 of these inside and about a pound and a half in weight. Perfectly delicious jerky.

One of my favorite buys when it comes to jerky. Great big slab of meat. Great for on the road snacks. Flavor was so good. About to order another 15 Slab pack in another flavor.

You are now selling a 3 ounce bag of jerky for 40 bucks now! Get out of here with that nonsense. The People's Choice own website sells the 3 ounce bag for only 7 bucks! Also I have bought the 15 big slab bags MANY times on here and those bags are almost 1.5 pounds NOT 3 ounces, but my purchase history says I purchased 5, 3 ounce bags. LIES! I never bought the 3 ounce bags, so why did my purchase history change to that instead of the big slab bags which are advertised as approximately 1.5 pounds when shipped?!? Something real messed up is going on in this listing as of 12.17.2024.... 3 ounces for 40 bucks when they are 7 bucks on the business website is straight up robbery. Post this review edit or don't I don't care. THIS is why I dont buy on Amazon anymore or have Prime anymore. The lies on here are so disrespectful. LAME.New review:i'll make this quick as possible to help those who love this product like I did. There is a difference now then from a few years ago. The slabs are much smaller and sliced super thin on some of them. Also quit a few of my slabs out of the total 4 bags I bought (2 spicy, 1 yaki, 1 original) smelled foul and to be honest rotten. I did not eat these as the jerky on these were very dry and hard as heck and I figured they may damaged my teeth on them. The packaging is also different than before and looks more shelf marketable than before for maybe like a costco rack or some bulk retailer with SKUS and barcodes.Also don't expect 1.5 lbs per bag when you get them. I bought 4 bags and they amounted to 4.5 lbs when 4 bags at 1.5 lbs should be close to 6 lbs total. The rep did explain to me that that is a requirement in order to ship within the amazon network. They must provide a shipping weight to the system. The rep said the real bag count is the 15 slab count not any weight. So be aware, the slabs are sliced thinner and smaller in size and thus the bag weight on all 4 bags was under. I was short by 1 bag out of 4 basically.I do think the jerky is good still but not nearly as before. I will not be purchasing these products anymore as I feel the quality and quantity has suffered too much as the price continues to go up. I appreciate family businesses and their hard work. I ate the whole pack in about a week!I just ordered another spicy, and the yaki and the classic to round out the collection! I love gas station jerky that hands haven't been all over! This is on the sweeter side so I’m glad I didn’t get the teriyaki flavor. But this is really good.

Great taste and flavor. Not for the faint at heart to enjoy. Product is more for on the go travel (camping, hiking…etc. I don’t recommend as a snack for kids….teenagers and above this is a yes product.

I am very particular about jerky. I want a very thin, dry, chewy because of how dry it is piece of meat. This almost meets that standard but gave me a new thing to check for in the future.This jerky is very thin. However, it is sticky and sweet. This makes it not quite so dry.I ordered the original flavor, not a sweet flavor. The first ingredient in the meat seasoning section is sugar and it shows. Also for 1 oz this product has 9 carbs, no fiber, and 9 grams of sugar. All of the carbs are from sure and you can taste and feel it in the pieces of meat. I have another company’s jerky at my house and it has 2 carbs, 1 dietary fiber, and 1 g of sugar for 1 oz of product. If you using this as a part of a snack for someone who is diabetic or is on a low carb diet, then steer clear. Also if you like your jerky more savory than sweet, then this is not the jerky for you.

The flavor is great and I feel like it's worth the price. It is a tougher beef jerky which I enjoy.

The best beef jerky ever. I have never had anything that equals it. It's worth the price, and there's plenty of good, large pieces in each bag. I have yet to try the other flavors, but I certainly will. This particular flavor is awesome. The seasoning is right on. There's just enough to add to the overall taste without overpowering the great taste of the beef itself. Try it, you'll love it!
