Good strong fileA little goes a long way it doesn’t seem like they mixed it in with fillers like other brands do. Remind me of Grandma’s cooking for my childhood.

Important spice for Cajun cooking
I do not live where I can get this locally so was happy to be able to get it in Amazon. It came very quickly. I am sure it isn't like what you would get in Baton Rouge or New Orleans (the flavor isn't very strong so you have to use more) but it definitely helped with the dish I was preparing and other Cajun dishes I make.

Very good, delicious on my shrimp gumbo 😋
Every now and then then I love to make a big pot of shrimp gumbo , it can be hard to find the seasoning like the File’ gumbo powder so I was so happy to find this. The bottle is a good size and was delicious on my gumbo!😋😋
