It does what it's supposed to and comes with all the ports it's supposed to.
I just got it today, and I intend to use this for work, and it appears to work with or without the charger in it. The laptop slides in and out very easily. You slide the laptop in from an angle, and when you press down, it locks in place. There is a latch on the right side that lets you pop the laptop out with ease as well as a power button that lets you put the laptop to sleep immediately. The additional HDMI port is nice because it lets you project to one other monitor, and it helps that there are some other legacy ports like VGA. It is a lot bigger and heavier than I expected. I have no complaints except that the charger that it came with smells like burnt plastic when you use it so I had to use the regular charger that came with my laptop. I am not sure if this is a result of me buying it used. I will post another update about it soon.

Docking station for CF-54 is perfect, even controls power. Has two additional USB ports.
