Just like the original
This too me BACK!!!!! I love it. Great buy. You won't regret, unless you have big fingers. It's small, can fit in your purse, pocket, etc. Makes a great travel companion.

Super fun, but the buttons are rubbery... which makes gameplay very different.
This little machine is so well designed and cool looking! It feels sturdy and robust. The games (Mario, Mario 2 the lost levels, and the juggler game) all play well and look wonderful. The screen is teeny, but that is part of the appeal. The only thing I was disappointed about, and it honestly never occurred to me that this would be a thing, but the buttons are RUBBER! All of the original Nintendo controllers I ever used had nice hard plastic buttons with a nice crisp feel. These things are rubbery and spongy. It isn't something that would normally be that big of a deal, but it is just SO different from the experience of the classic controllers. It is still playable and extremely fun, but there is just something lost. A big part of the game is smoothly sliding your thumb from one button to the other as you race around the level, but with the rubbery buttons... well, there is no way to smoothly slide anywhere. The buttons grip your thumb in a way that makes that an impossibility. I would still recommend it overall, and I was super excited to get it. However, if they ever make a version with plastic buttons, I am going to snap one up so fast.I gave it 3 stars overall, which hurts my heart because these Mario games are my jam, but I still play it and I intend to do whatever it takes to get used to the rubbery button situation. I will update this if it seems like it is just a matter of getting used to the change from the old way.

It’s alright for what it is.
My son bought this. 3 games. I guess it’s more of a collectible than anything.
