I can not believe how difficult it has been to get a remote for my Z6. I realize there is a Nikon app that is supposed to make a remote redundant BUT I have not had much luck with the app and light from a device defeated the purpose of night shot so Ive been suffering for a while now. Going to Hawai’i. Want some night shots, some time laps, waterfalls, sunrises, sun sets and family portraits all of which need a simple remote just to push the button. Finally got one that works, is not way over priced, AND it came with the correct cable to connect the receiver to the camera. Also the receiver and cord can be used as a hand held unit so camera is isolated and stable when needed and you are just working next to it. Click, easy cheesy just like my old film nikon 2002 from back in the day. I can stop pulling my hair out now. This unit is basic and works and that all this cowboy needs. Yee haa.

Pas très patient je m'embrouille un peu pour suivre la bonne procédure de mise en route mais une fois en fonction ça marche très bien. Livré avec 2 cables , un qui sert sur mon Nikon D850 et un autre sur mon Nikon Z7. Su la photo jointe j'ai la télécommande dans la main. La question que je me pose maintenant: si je désire utiliser l'émetteur avec en même temps un récepteur sur chacun de mes boitiers (donc 2 récepteurs en tout) , est ce que ça va fonctionner? Et est ce qu'il y a moyen d'acheter un récepteur à part ou faut il racheter un jeu complet (émetteur et récepteur) ?

I am using this with my Nikon D7500, it was easy to set up and works very well.

I was concerned this wouldn't work because I have two other remotes that didn't work well (lagged or didn't connect), but it was easy to connect the transmitter and the remote comes pre-paired so it's totally plug and play. I used it traveling recently and was able to get some group shots with me in them quite quickly. The only downside is that the remote doesn't have an on/off button, so you should take the battery out for storage, but not a big deal to me considering how affordable this setup is. I haven't tested the full range, but for taking photos from a few metres away, it works perfectly (press halfway to focus, all the way to take the photo) and even from inside my pocket. If you don't want to keep a hand in your pocket or behind your back, just use the 2 second timer button on the remote (or set your camera to whatever delay you want).
