Topo Designs Rover Pack Classic - Khaki/black - One Size

I got this bag in blue and it looks really nice in person. I love the blue and red contrast. It's unique and doesn't look like everyone else's plain black bags. I have 3 Timbuk2 messenger bags and I would say this bag feels very similar in quality. It's well made and is just the right size. The lining inside is on the thinner side, so no inside padding, but you can easily fit a laptop in there. I'm using it as a commuter bag for riding my bike to work. It's just the right size to pack some clothes, shoes, and food. The shoulder straps are nicely padded and comfortable. People have mentioned the pockets on the side being small, but I was actually able to fit a full size, tall Thermos in the side pocket without any problems the straps on the side are adjustable so I can use those to secure it while on my ride. Overall, a very nice bag. I loved it instantly as soon as I took it out of the packaging. Make sure to check the dimensions in the description. The size is as described. It's a small/medium bag that can fit a lot in it. The drawstring closure on top allows for carrying a lot of stuff. Highly recommended!

Pricey but holds so much and I love the drawstring, avoids the issue of broken zippers which is what I was buying a replacement for.

Nearly two years in, and this bag hasn’t let me down. This Topo backpack is durable, dependable, and still looks new despite regular use. The bright green lining adds a fun, unexpected pop every time I open it. It feels like it’ll last me a lifetime.The only downside: the top grab handles are a bit rough and tend to scratch my arm when I sling the bag on—but it’s a minor trade-off I can live with. I’m already eyeing a brighter colorway of the same model.

Love the appearance, very stylish, but pockets are not very comfortable to use. Also the fasteners on the straps a bit rigid for me.

Very sturdy, light but also comfortable to carry. If you don’t carry a whole lot of stuff, there’s more than enough room. Laptop pocket is deep with nice cushion for protection. I like the material and I chose black for versatility.I love it. Highly recommend!

The picture in the description doesn't do the bag justice. The top half of the bag has the appearance of a paper bag in both color and that it is slightly crumpled. The fabric reflects the light and looks even more dramatic in a low light setting. I love the contrasting fabric on the bottom, with the color of the straps. I have it hanging on my bedroom doorknob because it is a piece of art! I bought the pack for a flight I am taking that has a smaller than usual personal item size requirement. What I like about this pack is that the straps will allow me to shrink the size of the pack a bit to fit the flight requirements, and then while I'm on the trip I can expand it to fit my needs. The outside pockets are handy. I like that Topo has not added padding to the interior laptop pocket. I'm not bring a laptop on my trip and don't want the extra weight and space robbing of unnecessary padding. We will see how the pack performs on my trip. I might be back to add additional details.

I’ve had it for over two months now and all I can say is that it’s very well made and hasn’t fallen apart yet. I’ve used it almost everyday for my 16 inch laptop (which fits!), a book, notebook, and small misc. items. The design is exactly what I was looking for and the reason why I fell in love with it. It’s a very sturdy, yet, flexible fabric and holds up well in the washing machine (had to wash it once). The straps need to be broken into overtime but I’ve never had any pain in my shoulders. Overall a great product and will buy again/recommend to others
